  1. Glad he is gone...good riddance. Good job US armed forces!!!
  2. Superman is being outsourced now...
  3. Without looking at the other answers I wil say the states were first...there really was no federal government in the early days of colonization. Wasn't the federal government set up to help regulate interstate commerce, land disputes, and for military protection (national militia) purposes originally??
  4. eecckk..I effin' hate snakes.
  5. No it's BS...gas prices have gone from $1.95 in 2000 to $4.15 in 2011...that's double. I don't make double the money I did in 2000, and all other uilities have gone high too. The vast majority of workers salaries have not kept up with inflation, that is the problem.

    "Fringe"

There are plenty of other avenues to go down with story lines...like wtf is up with the observers/original people for example. This last episode was really good, looking forward to next week. I agree the "LSD" episode was weird in a good "Fear and Loathing" kinda way...but I hated the plot line of William Bell "posessing" Olivia's body/mind...seemed like it was a rather pointless tangent. Other than that this season has rocked.
  7. Sorry about your bike man...I would feel then same as you if something happened to mine. Keep an eye on Craigslist...they may be waiting for the heat to die off before they part the bike. Also...don't just look in Columbus, a lot of times thieves will move parts in other cities to keep it on the low. Hope u find your bike and the pricks that stole it so you can put your foot up their ass.
  8. Looks good Holly, totally changes the look of the bike.
  9. That's crazy, too bad that chick lost her job because of the kid tho.
  10. +1 The old Connie's are good bikes, but they definitely aren't lookers lol.
  11. I don't think Apple has anything to worry about, the UI on their products blows away the competetion. I wouldn't trade my iPad for a Galaxy Tab or Xoom or anything else.
  12. If you can find one, a Z750S like mine would fit what you are looking for perfectly. They have a decent aftermarket since alot of Z1000/ZX10R parts will fit too. Plus they are pretty inexpensive for the amount of bike you get, and very comfy ergos. Also, I take the wifey out riding with me sometimes and it does great 2up, it's definitely a step up from a Ninja 500. It only has about as much power as a CBR F4i so you won't get over your head as easy as you would on a modern SS bike. Plus it is FI, which is a big plus over my old Ninja 250.
  13. Born in '78 and I agree that we grew up in a good time. I also remember going out on my BMX bike in the morning and not coming home until the street lights came on(except for family dinner where we all sat down at the same time and ate)...and my parents were never worried about me being kidnapped or killed. I remember rotary phones, VHF/UHF B&W TV's, REAL cartoons, watching the Dukes of Hazzard, playing football and baseball at the empty lot down the street, going down to the creek and fishing all day, getting together with my buddies and having competitions with our Red Ryder BB Guns, sneaking out at night and playing flashlight tag with all the neighborhood kids until the wee hours of the morning...ahh good times. I remember when gas and cigarettes were both less than a buck too, makes me feel old.
  14. I've considered a scooter for around town already...I would rock an electric if the price was right. I dunno about electric motorcycles though, range and price would be a deal breaker for me.
  15. Right around 700, but in my defense I have been rebuilding because when I was young and dumb I screwed my credit big time...
  16. ...and you were searching for what exactly when you found this...lmao. That's hilarious!!!
  17. Yeah thats the thing...a simple tip over in a parking lot or a 25mph lowside could potentially "total" some bikes if enough cosmetic damage was done. I wouldn't be scared of a salvage bike as long as the hard parts are good.
  18. WOW, that is awesome!!! I wish I had the know how and $$$ to pull something like that off.
