  1. Very nice bike you have there King, the exhaust makes all the difference on those bikes.
  2. RIP riders...and just because they were NEW bikes doesn't mean they were noob riders. It could have been a Monster 696, it didn't really say that it was an 1198 or something. Either way, it is very tragic.
  3. I'm just right across the way in Marysville, I would like to get in on this sometime.
  4. I would keep the 14, they are nice bikes imo. Just do like what was suggested and try some different bars and seat. I would consider the Z1000 if you really just want a different bike...they are sweet, but you will lose any wind protection at speed that you would have with the ZX14.
  5. Nice 883, I am a closet Harley fan...when I am too old to ride a sport bike I will have one.
  6. Be safe and have fun Duane! Next time u r down in Marysville give me a shout if ya wanna ride, Jodi told me you were down last week.
  7. Glad the surgery went well Moose...you will be back on 2 wheels before ya know it.
  8. Yeah I was looking forward to finding out what kind of crap they put in those bags. I am guessing it is decals, coupons for service, a kickstand puck, and a keychain....
  9. HA, I could see me rolling in with a 2x4 strapped to the bike..ghetto fabulous. Just checked UPS tracking and it is scheduled to be delivered Wed, so I am IN.
  10. I would say VFR800, they have pretty good ergos (at least I thought so from my test "sit" at the dealer) if that is the main concern. I am also partial to my bike the Z750s...the little brother to the Z1000, it has very nice ergos as well.
  11. My friends and I actually have done #1 at Wal-Mart, very funny putting a pack of "Magnums" in this womans cart (she had to have been at least 80 years old). You know she got to the checkout and was all embarassed hehe.
  12. I am planning on it...got the all clear from wifey, so no family commitments. I am just waiting for my new kickstand to come in for my bike...the previous owner had the stocker cut down when the bike was lowered and since I lifted it back up I have to park it with a 2x4 under the stand to keep it from leaning too far. UPS says it should be here that day (hopefully early) so I will put it on and head over.
  13. I would like to go...never been to one. It would be nice to meet some of you all in person.
  14. Welcome and very nice KTM!!
  15. God I HATE deer...glad you are alright man, sucks about the bike but at least you were able to walk away.
  16. Price seems pretty reasonable for a 2007 this time of year...maybe a tad high, but not much. I just sold my 2004 Ninja for $1,775 on EBay and I am still getting emails about it from interested people. Those little 250's do hold their resale pretty well for an older style bike, and they are a blast to learn the ropes on.
  17. Welcome!! Please do post pics of the bike too...
  18. That's awesome that they can organize like that. That is how you get shit done...lol. Good job Frenchies!!!
  19. Tons of Hot Wheels, my old Atari 2600, all the He-Man and GI Joe...I had one of those metal Tonka dump trucks too...man that thing was tough (and heavy if I remember right). My favorite was my Dukes of Hazzard Big Wheel trike that had the confederate flags on it and the "General Lee" written on it. It had the handbrake so you could do burnouts and slides and some Cragar SS looking wheels..it was cool as shit.
