  1. That's awesome that you put her back together. Not many people would have the patience or know how to do all of that. Kudos to you. I wanna see that bike hit 200k and I am sure it will!!!
  2. LOL... I'm with you guys, I could EASILY blow every penny I have there.
  3. I looked at one before I bought my current bike...it was a 2006 model and I liked everything about it except the weight and the super small rear tire on such a big bike. I have heard those oil/air cooled motors are pretty stout and very easy to work on.
  4. Your Ohio driver abstract spans the previous two-year period. License Status as of 04/10/2010: VALID ENDORSEMENTS: MOTORCYCLE RESTRICTIONS: CORRECTIVE LENSES **************CONVICTIONS************** C1 IN-STATE CONVICTION COURT: ATHENS MUNICIPAL COURT COURT CASE: 2008TRD01216 OFF. DATE: 04/07/2008 CONV. 5. Eh well...it's only $$$ right lol. Now I have an extra set if for some reason I would ever need them...no such thing as having too many extra parts, especially for bikes. That's good to know about the lowering kit though, thanks for the heads up yotaman.
  6. Thanks man, yeah I am a fan of HST as well.

  7. I will know more when I go pick the bike up this weekend, but that is exactly what it looks like they did to the front.
  8. Hope you make a full and fast recovery...sorry it happened to ya!! Thoughts are with you.
  9. Well my little Ninja 250R is going to a good home, so I am picking up a 2005 Kawasaki Z750s this weekend to be her replacement. The bike is lowered..front and back...and I am wanting to get it put back to stock height as I am taller and bigger than the previous owner. I already ordered a set of used OEM links for the back to replace the lowering links and from what I understand there will be no new parts needed to lift the front back up. So my question is there anyone on here semi-local to me (Columbus/Marysville) that could lend a hand (I really have no idea what to do when it comes to bike suspension work) and help me put her back to stock. I will help all that I can and even kick down some $$$ and brews if you like. I would appreciate it guys! Andy
  10. I nailed the phone, it was a huge hit...must be an engineer at heart.
  11. Well yeah...true..how about *SALE PENDING* lol... If for some reason the person bails on it then jessecwalters, I will let ya know for your sis...it's a clean bike.
  12. *SOLD* A nice lady from NW Michigan is coming down this weekend to pick it up.
  13. OUCH man...glad you are ok, could have probably been worse if you weren't wearing your helmet like you said. I can't believe that lady didn't even ask if you were ok...I would have been just as upset as you.
  14. Sorry to hear about your pup...it is just like losing a family member.
  15. Email sent to seller(via her craigslist ad)...please let her know Casper...thanks! Also, how hard is it to remove the lowering kit and bar risers from one of these?? I am a bigger guy and would need the bike at stock height with the lower bars. Anyone out there willing to lend a hand switching it back as I have no clue what I am doing with suspensions on bikes...lol?
  16. Registered Respiratory Therapist here...if you need intubated, then I am your man!!! lol
  17. Pics?? The 250 should be gone by this weekend...definitely interested.
  18. If I can get my Ninja 250 sold I will be all over this...seriously.
  19. If you are down in SE Ohio Rt. 26 out of Marietta. Automobile Magazine lists OH 26 as one of the "20 roads you must drive before you die"
  20. True, I just kinda prefer the naked or half fairing bikes...looks and ergonomic wise.
  21. I really want an SV650...I would actually prefer the naked one, but I wouldn't turn down a 650S for the right price. Dream bikes are the newer FZ1's or a 2010 Z1000...but I know I am not ready for a bike like that yet..lol. Let me know what your Mom says...thanks.
  22. Very nice!!! As soon as I get my Ninja 250 sold, I will be picking up a SV650n as well....hopefully if my bike ever sells lol.
