  1. I understand your feelings I am the same way, but that is why you have insurance. If it gets stolen or trashed then you have an excuse to upgrade and buy another bike you like. I started out on a 04 Ninja 250, they are fun little bikes.
  2. First bike was a 2004 Ninja 250, my second and current bike is my Kawi Z750s. Next bike will hopefully be a Z1000 or ZX14.
  3. When I am broke: 1. Rolling Rock (I drink it most of the time...broke or not) 2. Natural Light 3. Busch Light When I want to splurge: 1. Heineken 2. Amstel Light 3. Sam Adams I drink RR most of the time, I like it and it is cheap so it's all good. Not a fan of PBR though.
  4. Thanks for clarifying Recon, still 88 sucks. One rider killed is one too many.
  5. 600, holy crap. I knew riding was dangerous but those fatality numbers are way higher than I imagined.
  6. I'm in!! Can't get there until 7pm due to work...but I will be there.
  7. America rarely gets the cool naked bikes and it is a shame. I am partial to naked bikes due to their relaxed ergos and I like being able to see the engine on the bike (easier to work on too).
  8. I miss Carlin, he was my favorite "comedian". It's funny because yeah, it's "stand up" but in every bit of comedy that he performed...there was always a little truth behind it. I really enjoyed him, both as a person and a performer. Good post Kawi!
  9. Ran over something in the road....like what, an IED? LOL That would suck having to watch your pride and joy burn to the ground.
  10. Hey Casper do you have any black ones laying around???
  11. Welcome!!! Nice choice of bikes, be sure to post some pics.
  12. +1 Take the MSF, well worth the money. As long as you pass it waives the DMV riding test and my insurance company gave me a discount.
  13. Welcome!!! And I agree with everyone else...Ninja 250/500 and take the MSF class. That's how I started and it was well worth it.
  14. Awesome!! That is a sweet setup you have, good to see you back out doing what you love. You definitely are an inspiration to those who think they can't get back out there after a horrible accident. Way to go man!!!
  15. Welcome to the site...I am originally from Parkersburg. I miss the fun roads down that way.
  16. I grew up in Parkersburg WV, there are lots of great roads in that area if you know where to go. Sounds like you had a fun trip!!
