  1. Thanks for coming out guys, we had a really great time.
  2. Thanks for the feedback Cdubyah. I need to come up with something to make that process better.

  5. No big Strom demo machine yet. I'll let you know when that happens. Schmidt's Truck 1000 Strom New Indian/Victory showroom VJMC will be here selling $5.00 raffle tickets for a 1978 Suzuki GS750E
  6. Tomorrow, Saturday April 12th If you are into shiny things come by and check out the new Indian Motorcycle showroom, it is amazing. If you are into big, dirty ADV bikes come in and check out the new V Strom 1000. If you are hungry the Schmidt's Sausage Truck will be here 11-3.
  7. We have a few of the Answer/Skull Candy in large in one color. We have lots of the Scorpions in large in many color combos. Schmidt's Sausage Truck here on Sat. Swing by for a helmet, a brat & a look at the new Indian / Victory showroom.
  8. The large purchases of closeout products are a very important part of our business and have not only continued, but have been ramped up. As stated before the closeouts are no longer in one section, but are now incorporated and interspersed into our regular selections. This should make shopping such a vast selection easier. For instance if you are looking for street boots you only have to look in one place to see everything we have to offer, the latest offerings and closeouts. As far as dirt helmets are concerned we just recently received two closeout buys. Scorpion VX24 for $69.99 & Answer Skull Candy for $59.99. Those are both really great of-road helmets and they are certainly inexpensive enough not to get worried about them getting covered in mud the first time out.
  9. The numbers might be correct, but the methodology is suspect from a statistical point of view. Overall their numbers are about right (even though they say it backwards IMHO) with about 3 people out of 108 riding motorcycles. Socioeconomic factors play a larger role than weather in most cases. This is a generalization, but typically the wealthy and the poor do not ride. Motorcycling in the US is largely a middleclass, and in the past a rather blue collar, activity. Ohio is usually one of the top 5 or 6 states for total motorcycle registrations. No matter how you slice it motorcycling is not that popular in the US. There is a very small percentage of the population that rides.
  10. Their online bike builder is really cool. I'm not even a cruiser guy, but I think this thing is super sexy. Chief in Indian Motorcycle Red, Stage one exhaust with fishtails, solo seat with chrome rack.
  11. We received a few of The Indian Chief Vintage models in today. Springfield Blue & Indian Motorcycle Red. Still in the crates, we'll have them out tomorrow afternoon.
  12. Pokey, there is an old French proverb that escapes me at the moment, but it basically says "the sun can shine on everyone" I think the Indians will take a bite out of HDs market share, but HD has a ton of it, it might sting a little, but that is about it. We love HDs too. Competition is good. I would say that Victory has pushed HD to make some pretty big changes in the last 10 years. In my opinion, even if you do not like Victory and are a faithful HD rider, you have benefited from Victory's success in the heavyweight touring/cruiser market. I expect the same will happen with Indian. Competition is great for the rider.
  13. Employment Opportunity @ Pony Powersports
  14. Congratulations John! Thanks for being our first Indian buyer. John purchased his Springfield Blue, Indian Chieftain just a couple of hours after it arrived.
  15. M_Quick the Ace came in today too. It is very cool. I think the Ace will open up a completely new market.
  16. Keeping our fingers crossed for a couple of the new Indians to arrive tomorrow.......That is what we have been told, but you know how things can go sometime. Please excuse our construction when you come in, the new Indian showroom is quite a project and things are a bit of a mess. We're really excited about the bikes getting here and will probably uncrate them right away. Of course I'll take photos, but I'll try to give you a heads up so if you're local you can come over and see them being uncrated.
  17. https://www.facebook.com/eurobikenight Grandview Euro Bike Night. Lots of Japanese bikes too........I would say it is geared less for the chrome/loud pipe crowd and more for the euro/sport/café/adventure riders. There is also a café racer night in downtown Dublin the first Monday of each month IIRC.
  18. M-quick we're excited about the ACE too. Polaris is really great about creating new categories and having continual product development. They just never stop bringing neat stuff. If you guys have not heard of it do a quick search of Polaris Slingshot. Really different, and perhaps not on every motorcyclist's wish list, but it might be really cool to open people's eyes to alternative transportation. The Slingshot is supposed to be a 2015 model released late this summer. I'll post up when the first ACE comes in, I'm not certain about the timeline. Max, the orders are placed, but you know how things go. I have been told around the middle of Feb, but I'd hate to "promise" that. I'd say we'll have bikes here the first week of March for sure. I know two of the first bikes will be demos. Victory demo truck will be here on May 3-4, but that is a different program than the Indian demo. We have a commitment on the Indian truck for this summer/fall, but I don't have a date yet. JohnG, sure I'll posts it up and you guys can watch us pull the first ones out of the crates if you want.
  19. Thanks Scott. It is going to be good. The bikes are really neat and there seems to be a great deal of excitement about them. Given Polaris and Victorys proven track record we expect them to do well. The orders are placed. We hope to see the initial bikes in the next 30 days or so.
