We wish you all a Merry Christmas. Safe travels.

There is also a Thurman's To Go right next door to the German Village location, pick it up for a quick picnic at Schiller Park. Besides the new Pataskala/Reynoldsburg location I saw a press release announcing a Delaware Thurman's To Go location opening soon.

Thanks for the love guys. Just about everyone here agrees that Thurman's is number one for burgers, but if you catch yourself hungry at Easton try Flip Side, really good as well. Hound Dog pizza is great just north of campus as well as aforementioned Ray Ray's inside of Ace of Cups (dive, so you can kill two birds with one stone) Aaron may or may not have the Grand Prix indoor karts open, but he is working hard on it. He is just of I70 east of downtown. Looks like it is going to be a good time. It is an hour west, but the Air Force Museum is crazy awesome, warm, free and open 7 days a week. I have probably been 10 times and it is still one of my favorite places on earth. Been away from C-Bus for years & too old to know the bar scene, but I still like Byrnes in Grandview + you can check out Sauf's & Jeni's while you are there. Spagio is also right there and has a great wine list & food. FYI we are open 7 days a week, year round.

No, I'm sure you will be able to get it done in the future. I'm not sure legally how far out they have to go, but I would not wait years and still expect it to be covered by Suzuki. Depending on the bulletin some never expire, some expire in couple of years. I know many on here like to work on their bike themselves, but here is a good reason to visit the dealer once a year or so at a minimum, especially if you bought the bike used and Suzuki doesn't have a paper trail of you as the owner....Recalls. Every bike that comes in (if we are a dealer for that brand) gets its VIN ran to see if there are any open recalls. We inform the customer, order the parts (if we do not have them in stock) and schedule the repair/replacement (if it cannot be taken care of immediately) You'd be surprised how many bikes come in that need recall work done to them and the owner had no idea.

Suzuki announced very aggressive incentives on remaining 2012 motorcycles. These prices are crazy low & you have one shot at them. These are new bikes at used bike prices. These will move fast if you want one give Pony Powersports a call 614 212 7888

Guys we appreciate your feedback and I wish it were easy to accommodate each and every model, but logistically it would be very difficult to make that happen. Besides....have you seen the passenger seat on an RSV4? (or most sports bikes for that matter) do you want to sit there or have Santa back there? Now, that said.....I am pretty certain we will have a very cute Santa's helper that will be wearing her elf uniform here on Friday during the middle part of the day. It will not take much effort to coax her onto the passenger seat of an RSV4, and while it might not be an official "Iron Pony Christmas Photo" I think we could find someone to snap a few mobile phone pics.

Absolutely, if you have a garage or a friend with a garage, great........................If not this is much better option than a cover on your patio or parking lot. That said...............my garage is NOT heated & I know it would cost more than $1.66 per day to keep it warm. I'm thinking of bringing the "special bikes" down to our storage.
-
Flat fee for the entire time. Drop off your bike anytime, pick it up before May 5th As of today........if you went from now (Nov 5th) until May 5th, storage would be only $1.66 per day! That includes an oil change and bike wash. Space is limited, give your baby a nice place to take their winter nap.

The blue/purple wheels on the gray one look much better in person than in photos. They are some sort of semi gloss metallic that makes them look like anodized aluminum rather than typical metallic paint.

I personally just rode it for the first time. Really cool sound with a nice little suberbike burble on trailing throttle. I expected it to be similar to the 05 Speed Triple I had, the power might be about the same but the Yamaha feels snappier. I know that seems like a strange word to use, but everything, steering & controls wise seems sharp and abrupt. The throttle seems "touchy" and a little over sensitive at first, but you get use to it in a few minutes. In the upper gears it has great roll on. It does not hit like and open class sport bike, but it is very respectable. In the lower gears power delivery in "A" mode is brutal. It is an "at will" wheelie machine. You need to have it pointed in the right direction and your chest above the tank if you are going to whack the throttle open in 2nd or 3rd. If you whack it open in first you will loop it out. The gearing is so much lower it feels like you have dropped two FRONT teeth off a countershaft of a really fast 750. If you put dirt bars on it with the short wheelbase and 17" front it would feel like an insanely fast and very quick turning supermoto. I think it is a very cool bike, but when you consider all that performance for under $8,000, it is a game changer. Call it whatever you want, Street fighter, standard or UJM..........Yamaha has thrown down the gauntlet.

Come on guys, give me a break. Yes, we're looking at EBR. Many things to consider and we're just trying to get a gauge on how the local riding population feels.

Pony Powersports is continuously looking for strategic partnerships to strengthen our brand and enhance our customer's experience.

[/ URL] So what do you guys think? We have had a chance to see the carbon fiber/Ohlins shod RS & the ABS/Showa equipped RX. Both look impressive. I am really surprised on what they were able to keep (like the one piece, cast magnesium sub-frame) while reducing the MSRP of the RX more than 50% over the RS. I'll agree that the exhaust can looks awkward, but in person it is obvious that it is designed to be removed and just run the belly muffler. The raspy, loping, & fast idle sounds really neat and the bike revs very quickly. The exhaust on the RS (that did not have the big can) was amazing. Unofficially we did have a chance to take the RS for a spin, but there was not enough seat time to form a real impression. So what do you think? American made 185 HP 102 TQ Sub 425 Lbs Dry $18,995

The red bike is still available for demos. We have a charcoal metallic grey version with the blue/purple wheels for sale. It was just uncrated yesterday. There is a waiting list and deposits on the first several red ones that come in, but you can have a grey one today. Word is the orange version will not make it until after the new year.

OR, Recently there has been a thread on here about the local Columbus dealers not being competitive. Obviously this concerns us and we are listening. I'm going to make you a proposition that will allow you to make a few bucks while helping us be a better dealer. It is simple...... Bring us an original invoice for a completed sale of a new motorcycle, scooter, side X Side or ATV from any other dealer in Ohio or any state and we'll reward you with a $25 Iron Pony gift card. You have to allow us to make a copy of the invoice. (all your personal information will be blacked out) Obviously it has to be a brand that we offer......Aprilia, Beta, Kawasaki, Piaggio, Polaris, Suzuki, Vespa, Victory, Yamaha We're confident that we are competitive, but there are some situations where people are dumping non-current models or bikes that are a challenge in certain markets. In many cases we find that the out-the-door-price is very similar to ours because of extra "tack-ons". Often you will find a bike with a very low advertised price, but by the time you get it out the door, freight, prep and/or set up has been added and inflated the bottom line. When you buy a bike from Pony Powersports you have the price of the bike, a $114.00 fee for documentation and title and (if you need it) $18.50 for a temporary tag. That is it, there is NEVER freight, prep, or set up at PONY POWERSPORTS. Remember there is always going to be Ohio state sales tax, we can debate that all day long, but that is another topic. To get your $25.00 Iron Pony gift card simply bring your original completed purchase invoice into the store and let us make a copy. You will receive the gift card on the spot. Remember, new bikes, the same exact brands Pony Powersports offers only. Good for motorcycle purchases made from September 1st 2013 through further notice. Offer limited to Ohio residents. Participants must present the original, completed invoice in person.

This is not a part of a demo day for Yamaha, but rather a dedicated FZ-09 demo bike. If the weather cooperates this bike will allow lots of people to take a spin on the FZ-09 before buying. Later the bike will be sold as a demo with the price being reduced accordingly. Motorcycle demos in general are a challenge. Most people do not mind buying a car that has a few test drives on it and most cars are probably sold with at least some miles on them. Bikes are different most people that buy bikes want a un-ridden example or several hundred dollars discount because it has been used as a demo. You see the dilemma. We can't possibly have a demo example of every model and we cannot have every motorcycle on the floor with some demo miles on them. What you need to do to get a demo is come to a demo event (where the factory provides the bikes) or take a demo ride on a new model when it is introduced, such as this FZ-09.

Thanks for coming out guys. Good time, as always. Rain got us a couple of times on Wednesday, but we were back on bikes in short order. Not a huge amount of changes for 2013. The ergos on the Judge are updated and much better, to me that stands out more than anything else. I took a Crossroads 8 Ball to dinner and home for the night on Monday. I'm not typically a cruiser guy, but it was a nice change of pace. 106 cubic inches with a full exhaust, stage one tune & filter meant it had a lot of neat grunt to play around with along with a killer sound. Probably have another Victory demo in May or so.
