Another wrench is thrown into my plans to join. Apparently im supposed to go to a wedding that day. Its my wife's friends, sister that's getting married. I consider that to be one person to far from people's weddings that i have to go to . I hardly even know the chic. On top of that, this exact scenario later this year is a wedding she said i didnt have to go to. Im going to try and use that as leverage to get out of this one also. Going to 2 of the 4 weddings planned this year isnt bad in my book. to be continued.........

Just buy this one and sell the K3 later. Or keep it and have two.

I was going to meet him at some place that has a notary available. Bank, BMV or whatever. Haven't heard from him since. Typical CL non-buyer.
-
People on CL are great. There is a guy that claims he will be over tonight with the money. We'll see about that. What i do know about him is that 1. He doesnt have a car and has to borrow a friends car to come see it 2. Had to borrow $200 to get to my asking price 3. Wont have the money to get tags 4. Almost certain he wont have the money to get insurance 5. Wont have the cash to get the title in his name. ( I'm not fibbing the price on the title) I somewhat care what happens to the bike after i sell it. Preferably i would like to sell it to an experience responsible rider that would take care of it but odds are it will be some dipshit that becomes a grease stain on the road.
-
Well the time has come. With #2 almost here and finding time to ride getting harder and harder I have decided to sell the bike. they make new ones everyday. There will be another at another time. So here is my CL ad with all the details and a current pic that I just took. OR price $4000. LBTS and all that... http://dayton.craigslist.org/mcy/4476138915.html.

I would like to come but I can't say for sure. They wife is due the 28th. So I won't know really until a day or two beforehand. You know how babies are, they just show up when they want to.

The Chop house has great steaks. Its over by the Dayton Mall. Also Bravo in the Mall parking lot has an excellent fillet mignon for an Italian restaurant.

Undertail exhaust would have made it look a whole lot better. -
layoffs, opportunities, uncertainty and anxiety

Most all machine shops in the Dayton area are starved for experienced machinists. That may not help you location wise but probably a good indicator that most areas need them. As long as your not just a professional cycle start presser you should be able make close to the wage your making now without the union. -
I have the original boiler from 1947 still kicking in my house. As long as I have fire and water I have heat. Is it efficient.... no. Does it start up every year without too much problems.....yes. I had a friends husband that does HVAC work come look at it once and told me to keep it till it rusts out. He told me in his experience he rarely has to do much work with older systems and is steadily having to fix newer furnaces. I guess the old saying applies "They don't make 'em like they used to".

Another thing with the Dewalt XRP is you can buy replacement brushes for the motor. Which is nice because those will wear out before the drill itself breaks or wears out. If your going to use your potential drill for HD uses or possibly drilling holes that are bigger than you should be with a cordless drill I suggest the XRP with the metal gearcase and all steel Jacobs chuck. Its heavy as hell but is damn near unbreakable. Now if you just need something to run screws or light duty stuff I used my neighbors 12v dewalt. It was compact and feather light while still having plenty of torque.

So I see on Facebook people talking about it. Basically go outside and make a snow ball. Bring it in and burn it with a lighter. What happened is that it turns black and smells like burn plastic. Also it doesn't really melt. Naturally my bullshit meter goes off. Then I try it myself and I'll be damned I got the same result. Discuss......... Edit* After further review of current conspiracy running amuck on FB I did it again. The blackness comes from the butane in the lighter. Also it does melt but the snow seems to draw the water in.
