So he called back just like he said he would. So we go thru the normal greetings like were old friends or something. Then he goes are you ready im going to put you on speakerphone and im like yeah man go ahead. This is when I proceed to tell "Ivy" I have no idea who she is or who this guy is on the phone. She starts yelling something I cant under stand then he asks me if I live in Piqua, which we already discussed in the first phone call. Then I hear her say who the fuck did you call and he starts yelling "the god damn number you gave me!". He asks me to tell her my name so I did and told her that you got him calling the wrong guy. I hear her say the phone number is 5XX-3213 and yells "thats the same fucking number im calling!" He says thanks and I tell him goodluck. Here is where one of them was mistaken or the other is lying again. My phone number is 5XX-3231. LOL! Medina: The person you described sounds just like the guy that called me. I always mess with people that send me texts that I don't know but never a situation like this.

Same as what I think it is?

I would if he kept being an ass on the phone but after he apologized and we decided to team up he has enough problems.

Sooooooo, I just got a call from some pissed off dude. Apparently his girl is creepin' and when he called her out on it she tried to weasel her way out of it by giving him a fake number of the person that was their. Well that fake number was mine. I answered the phone and he starts going off. Talking about all these people I dont know, how I just left her house and how he's about to shank me yada yada yada. Also he's going tofind out where I live by GPS-ing my phone (IDK if you can even do that). Normally I would have just hung up on someone like that but I was bored and just went with it. So after chatting with him for a bit I convince him he's getting played and was given the wrong number. So where do we go from here...........................JOIN FORCES AND CALL THIS BITCH OUT! He says he is going to her house and he is going to call me when he gets there. I cant wait till he calls back! I really hope he does. This is going to be GREAT! To be continued......

Aspiring Drag Racer Needs Lots Of Help If Anyone In Columbus
20thGix replied to Ironheaddragster713's topic in Daily Ride
I wouldn't worry to much about burnouts until wheel spin becomes a problem. Until then I think your justwasting a tire. In the pic i posted it looks like I'm carrying the front wheel. If it isn't then there is almost zero weight on it. Not once did I do a burnout. Also some passes were on cold tires. Granted I wasn't launching really hard, maybe holding at 8k rpm. I still had to ride the bike home and don't like totally abusing it either. I was just there having fun and legally wringing out my bike. I will probably be there again a couple time this year to do the same. Wouldn't mind doing the Ohio Mile this year also! -
I think thats a deleted scene from Stomp The Yard

Its definatley worth looking into anyway. P.S.- I have that .dxf file you sent me. Were you needing something done with it?

Ironhead: I saw that you were looking for leather in the free gear thread. I didnt want to highjack that thread so im posting this here. At Kilkare you arent required to wear full leathers to run test-n-tune until you exceed (iirc)120mph. In the pic above ^ that night i was running i think at best 127mph. So im pretty sure you will be fine. An actual race may be different.

Test and tunes are fun even when you dont know what your doing!

Or simply use Paint. Resize by pixel or percentage.

While this wasn't a maintenance dumbass moment but dumb non the less. This happened about an hour and a half ago. So I haven't rode the bike since I went down to Norris Lake a couple weekends ago. Being that the wife and kid went to Florida that same weekend nobody would be home for a 3 day stretch. I keep the bike in the garage and figured I would add a bit more security to the bike than just locking the garage door. So before I head out for the weekend I threw some padlocks on the brake discs. One on the front and one on the back. If someone was going to steal it I wanted them to at least mildly work for it. Today I decide to take a spin on the bike. I get my gear on, throw my leg over the bike, put in it neutral and start back peddling it out of the garage. Next thing I hear is CRUUUUUUNCH-SNAP. MY first thought was what the fuck did I run over. Then it dawned on me THE LOCKS!!!!!! I am still pissed at myself for forgetting. Hear is the damage. Totally fucked up my front fender.

Im pretty sure its the same guy we talked about/seen when you, alan and i rode. I know his name but not his screen name. He is on the forum and was at the Dyno day last year. Im sure i will run into him sooner or later. We have mutual friends. Not the facebook kind but the real ones you see and talk to in real life.

Intown and just cruising around i use the clutch. At lower RPM's intown it seems to be jerky or not as smooth. When being a bit more aggresive i go clutchless upshifts 2nd thru 6th. Also i think switching to GP shifting helps alot. I find it easier to push down on the shifter especially when going from 1st to 2nd.

Me either.

Talk to VanHaren. He is the know-it-all of road bikes. I have already. He will give you the run down of what to look for as far as components and what you should pay for a used bike. Dude gets real in depth.

After posting I realized I had 2fat2fly confused with Jst2fst. I'm an idiot or 48 hours of binge drinking has somehow effected me. -

Also I ran Q2's on the strip without doing any burnouts. Never had a problem with wheel spin. In the same breathe im no pro at drag racing either. Learning to launch at the strip is totally different than on the street. Ride over to kilkare this year and give it a go. There is a pretty good OR turnout some nights. -

Unless you need a new rear I would just run whatever you have on it at the strip. The strip is very sticky by its self. I don't know if you have ever been on the strip with your bike but you can feel your boots sticking to the track.
