  1. Here is the real kicker........i'm left handed, but still need a right side. Some things i do left handed but a gun goes in the right.
  2. Why run all the way to the FEMA trailer for supplies and not look in the ambulance that's right beside you? Also ithink its a bit much to drag out finding the girl for going on the third episode. There better be some real good excuse why. And T-dog what's his deal. He hasn't done anything since last season. Just kill him off he basically adds nothing to the story. It seems that there are alot of loose ends and some things they just dwell to long on. I do like the show I think they just need to move it along.
  3. Wouldn't you know they only have left handed holsters for the XDSC. Dammit!

    Internet TV?

I searched thru there TV shows and and they seemed current to me or maybe I missed something. The movies did seem to be lacking but maybe I will have to dust off the old Family Video card. I would agree that it not up to par with cable but there definatly is a savings there. I think my cable, HD, sports pkg and DVR box is around $80 a month. Granted I would have to keep the road runner at 50ish a month. I don't have the bill infont of me so I don't know the exact amounts but my bill is $130 monthly.
  5. 4DAIVI PAI2KI- Where did you get the Kydex from. I check one of our suppliers at work for a 12"x24" sheet. They said they would look for a drop but if they didnt have one i would have to buy a full 4'x8' sheet. Also what thickness were you using?

    Internet TV?

Who is the best provider over the internet? I would like to tell Time Warner to piss off and i cancelled Netfilx when they jacked their price. I looked into Hulu Plus @ 7.99 a month. I searched there website and it seems that they have all the main shows that i care about. I would assume there is a downside but i dont think there is enough of one to offset the savings from not having cable thru Time Warner. So does anyone have it? Whats your take on it?
  7. I stopped by there and Vandalia Tac. with no luck. I will make my way down to VRA sometime soon. As far as the holster that comes with it i dont much care for it. crb- I've been lurkin around that forum on and off. But if i had to order one off someone there i would probaly just buy one new from Crossbreed directly. I'm going to have to check out Deadwood's. I like the idea of being able to just switch out the Kydex on the MTAC instead of buying a whole new holster. Does anyone have first hand experience with both of these?
  8. Does anyone know of a dealer that sells Crossbreed or Comp-Tac holsters in the Dayton area? I'm not a fan of ordering stuff if i dont have to. Or does someone have one for sale new or used for a XD9SC they would part with?
  9. I'm not going to make it. I was gone all-day yesterday which gave my wife time to make a honey-do list.

  10. I already have a gun and stuff was looking to pick up some more powder.
  11. How many lbs of powder you have left?
  12. Some good info in there.
  13. I have seen other aftermaket clamps made with 6061 like SpeedyMoto and others. Also it will be in the T6 condition. I could possibly use Mic6 or 7075. Both of which would help with rigidity. I am still im trying to find a good balance between form and function. Are your former Attack bikes as in Attack Performance? Do you know what material there triples are made out of?
  14. I will see what i can do. I definatly want to get out again.

  15. So i went out last night and took a look at the stock top clamp. It seems that the bottom clamp really takes most of the loads. With out taking the top clamp off it looks as its really only has a 1/8 in.-ish wall and top surface. For some reason i thought it woudl be solid. Now it is thicker under the steering stem nut and where the ignition switch mounts. Today i did try to come up with more of an "X" pattern instead of horizontal and vertical pattern. I was having trouble having it come out looking ok without having a small radius in some of the corners. I think this weekend i will take my top clamp off and take it to work and get some exact numbers on the CMM. So i can get closer to a final design. jgetz i do like the look of yours. Also i looked up some of the aftermarket Ducati clamps and holy hell they want some serious scratch for them! Yeah i can get it to you in .step, .prt, .sldprt, .iges or whatever works best for you. Just PM me you email.
  16. If you sketch something up i might be able to come up with something. As long as your not in a hurry. As i have to do this in my free time or when its slow at work.
  17. Yes i will be cutting thru but with the right tool paths, tool modifications and last but not least...mack daddy machining skills i can get-r-done . Seriously though i will open them up enough to let the cutter cut the radius instead of just slamming into the corner. Or i could just leave the chatter...errr....uhh.....i mean knurl in the corners cuz i ment to do that. Also since i cant do the analysis would somebody be willing to do it if i sent you the model?
  18. Thanks for the ideas. Tomorow will be another slow day so i will try a few ideas. Im trying to keep any radius no smaller than 1/8 inch for ease of machining. Maybe i could go with more of an "X" pattern instead of the unequal grid thing i got goind on.
  19. I'm using NX7.5 but we do not have the liscense for that option. Also i cant use it in Solidworks either for the same reason. Cheap bastards!
  20. So it was a slow day at work so i decided to try my hand at designing a top triple tree for the bike. Here are a few views i took of it. Its kinda hard to see all the details in still pics so i added colors to help. The webbing in the middle is .250 inch. They are 1.75" thick in the middle tapering down to 1.50" where the forks go in. The spread for the fork tubes is not correct since i kinda just winged it without actual dimensions. So my question is do you think they will be strong enough to actually use or do any of you have any input to better the design. Also the material would be 6061 T6 Alum. Here is an ISO view And a left side: A top view: And the front:
