So they stopped the water rescue program 18 months ago. So what's happened to all the trained personnel and equipment. I can see cutting funding to the program but why stop using the training and equipment you previously had. I'm not arguing right or wrong just the details.

I'm sure every other night of the week but Wednesday its your run of the mill biker/dirtbag bar. I have been on bike night and some other random night. Felt out of place on the random night and left. On the bike night I went to it was totally packed to capacity. Sure most were HD's but nobody seemed to care what you rode in on. I had fun. Looked at alot of nice bikes and watched the shenanigans. So go and get some food and sit outside by the main parking lot and enjoy the show. There will be plenty of burnouts and other things to laugh at.

My buddy has one and the one thing I can genuinely gripe about it is the kick stand. When you get off the bike with the stand down the bike will roll forward maybe an inch or two. Just enough to make you think its going to fall over. It gets me everytime i have been on it. Also it seems heavy. Now that's compared to my zuk. But watching him back it out of a driveway or whatever it still looks heavy and he's used to it. One more thing, with my sidi boots I could hardly work the shifter. Maybe you could adjust the lever to work around that. He also bought his almost two years ago and paid about double what your looking at so the price seems like a deal. If you buy it and don't like it you could probably turn a profit on it.

I have tried using reflective chrome a few times and have yet to really like the results. When it comes right out of the oven it looks good but it seems to get a haze or fog if you will to it. I have even tried using a low temp clear overtop but have had little success. Hopefully you can get better results than what I got.

It was fun. My wife will allow the trophy to be on display for on week in the house then it has to find a home in the garage. I assume there will be another build contest. If so count me in.

I have a HP LCD monitor that i almost threw out today but figured someone might want it. I works i just dont have a desktop anymore. You can have it but you gotta come to Troy to get it. *Edit* I will be in Columbus on saturday.

Well i got the Honda pretty much done. I tried my hand at some pinstriping and it is definetly harder than it looks. For the first time trying i dont think it came out to bad. The seat is the only thing that i just cant get to look very well. And the exhaust i will eventually find something to fit. So i guess it is what it is. Also i FINALLY got my minichop finished. Just need to wrap the seat but no biggie. I put alot of hours in these past couple weeks to get them ready to take to the Econo-bike show this coming satuday. Just glad to have a couple unfinished projects done!

It will have a 9hp Tecumseh injun.

Well the Honda's just about wrapped up for now. So on to the next. I finally got around to tearing it down and sanding off the laziness (surface rust) from sitting around half done. Got a coat of primer on just incase the thats all the farther i get for awhile. Hoping to get all the other parts powder coated this week.
