Just so you know they know you only have your permit when they run your tags. Highway patrol pulled me over intown for riding 2up with only a permit. I thought the same thing. I wont do anything dumb and they wont ever know. WRONG! Had to have my aunt pick up my wife and then i was allowed to leave. With a ticket of course.

http://www.houseboating.org/boat_info.cfm?id=453079458 Also ask if you have to have another boat (smaller) with you. I though i heard that you needed one for safety reason's. That may just be Norris Lake. Or i totally made that up in my own mind. Im pretty sure i heard that somewhere though.

Went down to VRA with my brother saturday. The guys down there are real nice and informative. He got out an SR9C and a Taurus PT111 for me to take a look at. After handling the Ruger i definatly did not like the Taurus. He didnt seem to care for them to much either. Then i asked if there was anything else he would suggested in my price range. He showed me the Springlield XD. That and the Ruger felt comfortable. The XD felt alittle top heavy but the salesman said it would balance out better once loaded. So after gettin some hands on i think im going to go with a XD. I think you get more for your money as far as whats included.

I have the Honda and a buddy might tag along with his Virago. Also im going to bring another bike that i built from scratch. Not street legal but fun to ride. whether it can be entered in or not i guess Dorifto can make the call on that. Have the rest of the details been decided? Where? Time? Estimate on number of entries?

I am even later to the party....but do they not show new episodes on BBC America anymore. I thought they were just in between season's. DVR hasn't been recording them.

When i get a date set i will let you know. I think im leaning more toward the Ruger SR9C or Taurus PT111. Hopefully next time i head down to Old English it wont be so busy and i can take some time and really find what fits. Looking around Vance's web site their prices seem alot better. Once i get the bike out i will probally make a day of shopping in Columbus.

I think the max rebate is 30% of qualifying materials up to $1500. I am able to claim my new roof that i had put on last year. $1500 in my pocket thank you very much.

I bet the conductors ass puckered like when you drive over larger roadkill waiting for it to roll along the bottom of your car.

So i've been looking into getting a pistol to carry. I will be taking the class hopefully early spring. I went down to the gun shop saturday just to look around and get an idea of whats out there. You can only research so much on the internet. When i was there it was pretty busy so i just looked around. Here' a few im interested in: Ruger SR9C Taurus PT111 Ruger P95 Walther PK380 I think i need to see how each feels in my hand but do any of you have any personal pro's or con's about them? Or any other suggestion? I would like to stay under $500. I do know that i want a quality firearm without breaking the bank.

My bike is a 20th Anniversary "Gixxer". Not real creative but it is what it is.

.[/quote[ People don't pay huge premiums for normal routine health care (though, it doesn't matter - the cost of preventive medicine is fairly insignificant, given how much Americans pay in taxes and out of pocket for health care), they pay huge premiums in case they need more than just normal routine health care. But even the cost of a regular doctors visit (on average, about $200 without insurance - that was in 2006) can be a burden to most families. Im my case i was. With the insurace i had and being fairly healthy i was wasting alot of money paying a premium of $7000 a year. Seeing $135 come out of my check a week was a my burden. I see what your saying about negotiated prices with insurance companies but from what i have see and dealt with lately the opposite seems true. This is just my experience.

I was on my company's group plan 2 years ago when i had my son. The total bill from the hospital was around $22,000 (hospital + c-section). Currently we are looking into having another child. I have changed insurance to a private HSA since. So i have been calling the hospital trying to find out how much they charge for having a child. Being that having a HSA you pay for more things with cash. So they tell me that a normal delivery is $3250 if payed up front. Being that the wife needs a c-section it is about $3000 more on top of that. The prices qouted to me by the hospital are for people that are not using insurance or any kind of assistance. Cash up front only. An almost $16,000 difference. Also my mother-in-law does billing for an optometrist and she says there are two different prices for the same service. One for those with insurance and another for those paying cash. Guess which one is lower? But my son's doctor charges $75ish for wellness check-up's which my insurance pays 100% no co-pay. Now if he's sick i pay 100% and charged me $120 for the visit. That is something i still need to haggle with them about. Im a firm believer that somewhat normal routine health care is cheaper to pay right out of your pocket. No need to pay huge premiums for basic health coverage.

I'm interested in taking this CCW class sometime. A co-worker of mine wanted me to ask to make sure that i would be able to take the class with a .22 cal pistol. I was planning on using a Walther P22. Would this be an issue with you or any other instructor?

"They" claim 14hrs on low. In my old house the 2 car garage was attached and insulated so all i had to do was really leave it on high for about 15-20 mins. Just to warm up the garage. Then i would just turn it down just so the pilot was on. About every hour you would have to turn it back up for 5mins or so. My garage now is bigger, not insulated and unattached. Basically the same process but i have to turn it back on more often. I can still stay toasty even on really cold days. How long will it last? I have never really payed much attention but my semi-educated guess would be in the new garage it would last atleast the weekend. With a good bit of time spent in the garage. In the old house it seemd to last forever. Being the garage was well insulated unlike mine now. If you garage is even some what insulated you will be working in t-shirt and shorts. Like i said come borrow it and see if you like it. I dont have any plans on using it anytime soon.

I have it zero'ed @100. I just need to get out somewhere and shoot past 100yds. Here's another question for you guys. If the mid-range trajectory is 3"@110yds and max point blank range is 232yds but @200yds im only -.2" does that mean the round drops 2.8" in 32yds? The site im gettin my info from say the round will rise 3 and drop 3 from line of sight in 232yds. Seems like a long drop in such a short distance past 200. Per the site im getting my info from.
-
I wouldnt mind getting a scope with mil-dots but i also dont see myself taking a shot at anything past 200yds. I would probaly be pushing the limits of the rifle and round. Its not like im trying to head shot squirrels. Thats what the .22 mag is for. Thanks for the input.

The coyote thread made me think about this. The ammo i use in my Marlin 30-30 will be 3.0" high @ 100yds. and -.2" @ 200yds. Currently i have it zeroed in @100yds. Now my question is should i be hitting 3.0" high @100yds and in theory "zero" @ 200yds. If that makes sense to anyone. I'm not gun expert so my terminology may not be correct but i tried not to refer to anything used in a Warren G song (e.g clip, gat).

I'm supposed to go coyote hunting with my neighbor sometime soon. He has some battery powered wounded rabbit call/decoy thing-a-ma-jigger that flops around. He's says it like baiting a crackhead with crack.

I think Harley's and other big twins sound good with loud pipes at idle. Triples just have a sound of there own. Personally inline 4's sound killer under hard acceleration till about 10 grand. Especially going thru a tunnel. And my number 1 bike with an exhaust is a RC51. Man those thing sound good.
