  1. Locally you could try Sears Hardware or some other type of hardware store. Or possibly Harbor Frieght since you will probaly only use it once. Other than that Updike, MSC or Travers will sell them.
  2. I have 2 buddies that have OMC drives and have nothing but problems. My boat has a mercuiser outdrive but my problems were unrelated to the drive itself. Blown hydraulic trim line and carb issues ruined my day.
  3. Find the right die you can put as much thread as you like on it. Here's a couple tips. 1.Loosen/open the die up. There should be a screw where the die is split. 2.The side of the die with the chamfer or markings will be the leading edge. 3.Turn a couple threads then check fit with the nut. Adjust the die if necessary. 4.Also use some kind of lube/cutting fluid. 5.Admire a job well done!
  4. A boat that runs is a money pit. A free boat that doesnt is a bigger money pit. I took my boat out once last year. It turned into a nightmare. I will take broke down on the side of the road instead of on the lake anyday. Its fixed now but we will see how this year goes. Check out this site http://forums.iboats.com/forum.php IMHO OMC sucks in general.

    UR too cheap!

Sounds like an average CL experience. My thoughts are if you want what i have for sale then you come to my hometown to get it. I did help a guy out from Kentucky once. We met half way but it did make a few hundred dollars on the deal. But thats alittle different than a 10-20 dollar item.
  6. NWS towards the end. Also since when are there titties on Youtube? [ame] [/ame]
  7. My son and i got out for a little ride yesterday also. He's not quite big enough to ride on mine but we still went for a little cruize around the block. I more or less had to walk it beside him.
  8. Fuck my high score! I need to get a life! Disclaimer: Stealing NinjaNicks thunder leaving him with just drinking by himself.
  9. Dont feel bad. You arent the only one running behind. I still need to get the little things done to the Honda. Also i have another bike i still need to come up with a braking system and tear down for powder coat and paint. I usually can only get about a one day in on the weekends and one evening during the week. That and it being to cold out to paint really sucks. The little bit of spray bombing i did in the basement didnt sit to well with the wifey.

    Ride maps

Here's a link to a neat site i came across. A bunch of different ride maps for Ohio and other states. http://www.sundaymorningrides.com/road/states/OH.shtml
  11. I scope out the scrap material at work all the time. The steel they just let you have if you ask. But if i need aluminium i call and find out the what scrapweight is going for per pound and pay them for it.
  12. Yeah this would be one of them. The other i may bring just for the hell of it. If you allow it to be entered thats fine. If not thats OK too.
  13. So i decided to stay late after work and get some more parts on the to do list done. Tonight was make my own velocity stacks. Added power probaly not but i dont care. I think they look cool. Started with a solid piece of aluminum. First op. was getting the bore done. Next was turning the outside to complete them. Here's a couple pics of 2 of themn on the bike cuz i know how you people like pictures. They make my carbs look even more cruddy. I guess add that to the to do list also.
  14. Scruit i believe they have to make a "good faith" attempt to contact you. Either by mail, inperson or a door hanger. Something of that nature. I havent trimmed trees in 10years or so but by the way it sounds is that your trees will be fine. Who is your electric service with?
  15. If Asplundh, Neslon's or another tree service is the one doing the trimming a "ticket man" will come to your door first. Tell them you want it trimmed to "minimum seperation". Dont let them guys come out and butcher your trees. If its a distibution line they should know how to trim it with out killing the tree. If it's a transmission line you will have some guys that are used to trimming trees out in the middle of knowhere and will hack the hell out of it. I used to work at Asplundh doing transmission lines. You may be able to tell the same thing to the utility company if they are trimming it. Depending on the voltage of the powerlines will determine minimun separation.

    Senate Bill 5

I think your missing my point. I was only saying thats these problems seem to be part of the job description right or wrong. Now as far as time vested being grounds for a raise sounds like just because i show up everyday and do mediocre work i deserve a raise.

    Senate Bill 5

I know what they do. I just dont think that people think to them self that " I'm going to be an 8th grade math teacher, cop or firefighter so i can make 500k a year". Are some of them under paid....yeah probally. But i bet most started in that field because thats what they WANT to do regardless of pay.

    Senate Bill 5

I dont know if this is on topic but.... I think that most all people that become teachers, firefighters, LEO's and what not do so because thats what they want to do. Going into it you know about what your salary will be. So why now that you are in your desired profession you feel that you want need paid more?
