My new tires did there job sticking to the road under extreme/emergency braking. I was out for a little country ride after work minding my own buisness when 2 cars approach the intersection from the left. The first car turns left in front of me and i think "man that was a dick move you could have waited". I start to let off the gas then here comes the car behind it making the same left. I have never had to grab that much brake before. It was like slow-mo. I even glanced to my left and saw the kids face that was on a dirtbike that was behind the second car at the intersection. He had the O'chit look. Needless to say i came out alive and it was just another day on the bike sharing the road with the blind.

Anyone in the Troy area besides the stealership able to change and balance a couple tires. I ordered a new set of Q2's and they should be in later this week. If your willing and able name your price. Or if you know of a reasonable shop clue me in.

1.6 miles per google maps. About 4 mins. On a ZX14 doing 170 i could be there in about 20 seconds. Somedays i wouldnt mind a longer relaxing ride home. Driving around aimlessly in a car is no fun but when on the bike its ok.

Yeah i got hit pretty hard. 2 trees i lost half out of them, 3 pines snapped about 5ft. from the ground, 1 the top broke off and a fairly large Ash tree up rooted and decided to land on my garage and Jeep. Fixing the garage and house roof was estimated at $6300. Tree removal i havent seen the invoice yet. My adjuster came out wed. and tried to low ball me with $1100 bucks minus $500 ded. to fix them both. Its amazing how you can inspect roof damage on a 2 story house that you cant see the whole roof from the ground in the pouring rain. I cant believe he tried to give me a check for $600 with a straight face. Needless to say i wasnt happy. I told him he should probaly come back with a ladder when the weather clears. I need to stop now before i get worked up agian. Any advice from anyone that has had to battle their insurance on a claim would be appreciated.

I saw a show on the Military channel about "historic" sniper shots or something. They had the Canadian guy on their and i took him like 4 shots to hit the guy in Afghanistan. Then they tried to re-create the shot and couldnt do it. They show was really neat. I would say its possible but with a whole lot of skill and luck.

Long overdue update on the "winter" project that i waited till spring to do anything on. Dont mind the fender its still a work in progress. And all the wiring hanging out the side. Just about got all the wiring done. After i get done i will make a small write up on how to make a single filiment bulb run your running lamp and stop. Im using beehive marker lamps from Advanced Auto. Yes i am cheap.
