    05 Ninja ZX6R

the Kawi will feel more comfortable and a tad bit more responsive. although they're very close performance-wise get and keep em both - can never have enuff bikez
  2. btw - good that you're safe.. also, reading the whole thread, you might want to get a second opinion from someone who's done similar stuff before... good luck
  3. It actually better - for new purchases, your current insurance co provides the same coverage for 30 days (there are some conditions, but minimal) OP - please check with yr ins co - you may be covered btw - the crack may be welded, but the inside finish will need to be machined to the correct surface finish
  4. ah... oh well - didn't mean to offend anyone... I'd ride with you guys anytime 'night all! JRMii - being smug is just comes with being an enginerd!
  5. sry - who's Black Tod ?
  6. yup - yours is definitely bigger... I'm sure knee is not the only thing you drag lol
  7. not really - more "get out early and crack the throttle at dawn" kind of a fan
  8. yea - I'm calling it a day. Not getting anywhere
  9. The only effective way to shut people who like to make a scene is to ignore them. You (like others) made a conscious decision to feed whatever history was behind the bully post. A couple pages later, no one would have cared I'd agree that the cosmetic condition is not great, but the use of the phrase 'looks like shit' has no bearing on the obvious, is provocative in nature, and designed to elicit a specific reaction. As for the last statement... thanks? - you have all the charm of a menstruating cobra
  10. pure entertainment value possibly. whenever egos and preconceptions mixed in with righteousness take the place of facts and rational thinking, it has the making of a literary classic I'd rather wait for the movie.. lol
  11. Your agreement with the advice is commendable. However, your actions are quite the opposite, and you insist on making the same futile point by posting triviality. While you are correct that you did not start this shit storm, you don't seem to have any problem in contributing to it. Further, your expert opinion on how it should have been advertised is pointless - its not your bike now is it, as is the highly technical criticism that "it looks like shit" Admittedly, I'm relatively new here - so is this what this site is all about?
  12. Dont beat yourself up about it. The first step is acceptance, you're on the right track
  13. I dont think you got it - the last line was especially for you
  14. one of the most entertaining threads ever. Caveat emptor - its the buyers responsibility to enquire about details. Not one person in this whole thread is a buyer, or has seen/ridden the bike and yet everyone is comfortable critiquing it from behind the screen. Interested in buying the bike - go take a look at it and have a chat with the owner If the whole purpose of the posts is to dredge up some old shit and use this FS posting as an excuse, shame on all of us for acting so puerile. English, Abstract Math, Science, Engineering - done it all. Still dont see the point btw - I may not be as smart as Stephen Hawking, but I'm a darn sight closer than some of the retards on this thread. Got nothing constructive to add to the discussion? then STFU
  15. Welcome - from another "new" rider in West Chester. You're off to a good start - I started with an 07 Ninja 250, got a Ninja 650 a few months later, but still enjoyed riding the 250 just cause its way more fun Got a blue/white gsxr 750 later, and had to give up the Ninjas... they do take up space! Welcome - see you on the roads sometime!
  16. here's another idea, and I'm going to do this in a day or two short the open/close switch on the gdo and solder the battery contact to the switch (preferably the flash to pass switch). might need a small diode/capacitor across the terminals to 'help' the gdo power source. my garage door opener runs on the A23 which is a little 12v cell that seems to die all too soon. this way, no battery needed on the remote and the same wiring does the trick!
  17. Sure there is. About 134 miles East, or about an hour's ride!
  18. Hi all - new rider from Cinci/West Chester Got the bug to ride about a year ago. Started with a 07 250 Ninja, then 07 650 Ninja, my current ride is the 07 750 GSXR. wish I had more time to ride, but kids/work/weather/other shit seems to get in the way
