I go every spring and fall. If you have never been before go on Saturday and plan on staying until at least about 930pm to see the night shoots. They have machine gun rentals on Saturday as well where you can shoot all kinds of guns for about $30-40 per magazine. Mind you, the lines are long, but if you have never shot a machine gun before you will certainly have an opportunity on Saturday. Otherwise the normal gun show stuff with lots of ammo, camo, parts, etc.

And if they used one of these to take out one of our aircraft carriers, Obama would apologize for getting in the way of their missile. A real president would nuke Beijing.

It seems like you could just keep the bike and let the insurance company give you the difference between the total settlement and the salvage value of the bike. Then you wouldn't have a "salvage" title. Maybe they won't let you do this anymore, but I did it once on a car years ago.

Leaving a lead-acid battery (the kind in a car or motorcycle) in a discharged state for a long time will hasten its failure. That's why it's a good idea to put a charger on the battery over the winter if you aren't going to be riding. A battery that has been allowed to totally discharge over a long period of time will usually need to be replaced. The "trickle" or "float" chargers will maintain the battery's charge without overcharging it like a normal charger will do.

Also, a fully charged battery is more able to withstand cold temperatures without damage than a discharged one.

I got frozen hands and feet yesterday after being out for about an hour. Today was almost comfortable and I went for another hour ride. I reckon the rain they have promised us this week will wash away the remaining salt in the roads.

The P22 is a nice toy. The Sig is expensive and not even close to the quality of a 226 - surprisingly so. Both the Buckmark and the Ruger are fine guns that can be accurate and reliable for a lifetime. Me -I'd get the Ruger.

If you want to learn marksmanship and have fun, get a Ruger MK2 or MK3 .22. If you want something that can be fun to shoot, can work as a defense gun, and is not too difficult to learn with, get a Glock 19. Save the theatrics of .40s and .45s for after you have learned the basics. Ultimately, 9mm ammo will be substantially cheaper than 40 or 45 cal ammo.

I bought the 516 for my 16" AR. It uses the CR123 batteries ( a plus for me) and it sits a bit higher than the 512 when mounted on a flat top AR. This means that the dot sits a bit higher than the BUIS's line of sight. The lower model 512 still works, but the 516's dot is a bit easier to see.

I would not bother with the night vision compatible versions unless you really intend to use night vision. You can't turn a normal (512, 516) down low enough if you are using night vision.

I find the Ruger LCR too butt ugly to seriously consider. I have a S&W 340PD snubbie that is great for CCW. The concealed hammer won't get tangled when you draw and the double-action only trigger pull will pretty much keep you from ever shooting it accidentally. Anything bigger than a S&W J-frame (5-shot) will likely be too big and heavy for regular concealed carry.

Now, if you just want to shoot for fun, there are lots of other options. I like a 4" barrel .38/.357 for a good house gun and a 6" barrel for target/plinking. Stainless steel is good so you don't have to worry about the finish wearing off.

Look into the Savage bolt rifles in .308 or whatever caliber flips your fliver. They are about the cheapest, most accurate thing going today in a bolt rifle. .308 is nice because there are lots of ammo choices.

You are correct about the same rules applying to a motorcycle as in a car for concealed carry. In Ohio, "open" carry while in/on a motor vehicle is automatically considered concealed. So if you do not have an Ohio concealed handgun license (CHL), you must carry your firearms cased and unloaded to be legal. It seems weird that a gun in a plainly visible holster while on a bike could be considered concealed, but I can assure you that you will be in for trouble if you try that and don't have your CHL.
