  1. While the pad material can play a role in the pedal feel, if it's squishy, chances are it's the old decrepit fluid in that old woman's car you are driving. The previous grandma probably never had it done before.
  2. Someone point me to what's next.. http://i.imgur.com/DMbG5Ax.jpg I'm making meth and $ hand over fist, but there are no more upgrades (page 2 locked) I see all the talk about an angel? Do I have to watch the page for something to pop out somewhere?
  3. Sounds like we'll have a bunch of R888 owners come spring.. Looks like they make them in a usable size so I'll probably grab a set too.
  4. I know you've built your car primarily for 1/4 mile and rolls, but a part of you must want to be able to corner decently as well. I can't imagine running around town on MT's and enjoying it... /slow people/
  5. These hark back to the Yaris type cars. Not something you'd have FUN with daily.
  6. FWIW, the R888's are very popular with the UGR TTG crowd, they must do something alright on the street with high power.

  8. I'm not criticizing the cruze on the whole, it suits it's purpose just fine. My gripe is mostly with their diesel offering. They intended to go after the VW TDI people with it, and it's failing miserable in that department. It's neither a value, nor do they have a manual. VW TDI owners buy more manuals than just about any other demographic, and it's not even an option in Diesel Cruze land. I took a cruze diesel out for a nice 30-45 minute journey. The very lazy automatic just ruins the car. Once at speed on the highway the MPG numbers are very good.
  9. In reality, the diesel gains will far exceed what the EPA numbers suggest. It's just such a lazy car with that automatic trans, soft, and laggy and just generally bleh. For reference, the Passat is rated 43mpg highway, I can't get it that low to work, even running in and out and traffic and running 85-90. I average 48-54 depending on the day, traffic etc.
  10. Hello there, please see this: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61288

  12. These vans quite literally run forever....
  13. In all seriousness, everyone needs a reliable warrantied daily beater. 100K Warranty,Turbo,Manual.. Could be a lot worse. Plus, you have to have room for the kids, now that you are an old married man.
  14. 100K Warranty IIRC. NO WORRIES
