Working on some Supra collectors for my Gen II manifolds. T4 open: Some 3-1 collector work from today for one of my 2JZ-GTE Gen II twin scroll manifolds. These circular 3-1s are a blast to build:

It's a pain for "regular" driving but, realistically, how many of us regularly drive our cars around? No sense in fucking around and playing the tech game, if you're serious about it get the cage and call it a day. It's not my favorite thing in the world to climb over my door bar(s) but it is what it is: a sacrifice for the greater good.

I wanted to put on a show and the stock components weren't up to the task. No bother, the new engine will be stout enough to handle whatever I can throw at it. Ryan, it won't be back till next year.

Crank's scored and probably trash, but I have another one and, worst case, they're not too hard to come by. I need to get it up to Don so he can start his process to get the new engine put together.

Got my car on the dyno yesterday for some final tuning and manifold testing between two styles I offer. On the production manifold, we made 841/661 @ 35psi. On the stepped primary manifold with no other changes, we made 874/688 @ 35psi. Dyno with production manifold: Swapping manifolds: Dyno after manifold swap: Graph overlay: The stepped manifold did exactly what I wanted and more. I'm absolutely stoked that my theories and research provided tangible power gains. I'll be reworking my manifold offerings with this new found data; look for my gen 2 manifolds coming soon!
