  1. Can always discuss over lunch sometime. You know I'm an advocate for single setups, but I'll try to be as unbiased as possible.
  2. Let me know when I can start plumbing this bad boy.
  3. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8051/8117384370_82eb868935_b.jpg
  4. Let's build some gangster parts for it.
  5. Either keep it to have one at the house or sell it off, not sure yet.
  6. Haven't made any more progress on the intake manifold.
  7. Made more good progress today. Got the manifold all mocked (aside from wastegate runners): http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Fullymockedmanifold3.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Fullymockedmanifold4.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Fullymockedmanifold1.jpg Fits in the car well: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Fullymockedmanifold5.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Fullymockedmanifold7.jpg And the turbo clears everything, stock hood included: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/turbofitment2.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/turbofitment3.jpg Very proud of how this has come out so far. Now starts the deconstruction in preparation for final construction.
  8. I've welded with a gas mask on a few times in my day.
  9. Correct. However, I used schedule 10 bends on the Lexus since the turbo is much lighter.
  10. As far as I know, Burns only offers thin-wall which I don't trust to hang a big turbo off of and have the manifold last. I went overkill and am building this out of schedule 40, but it will be crazy strong and durable once all's said and done. I've welded galvenized and aluminized before: worst welding ever.
  11. Cast 304SS, they always look shitty unless you polish them.
  12. Thanks, Brian. This is still with the little 165, hoping to pick up a Dynasty 350 soon.
  13. Made some decent progress today. Exhaust manifold flanges and collector came in: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Manifoldmaterials.jpg I appropriately sized the merge collector for the T6 flange and started welding: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Mergecollector4.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Mergecollector3.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Mergecollector2.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Mergecollector1.jpg The T6 flange was warped during the welding process so I had it CNC decked and port-matched: I then mocked the turbo in place and started welding primaries: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Profilepic.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Tackweld2.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Tackweld.jpg Ended up with this for the day: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y59/14biggy/Supra%20Build%202012-2013/Exhaustmanifold1.jpg Overall pretty satisfying day. I'll hopefully have the rest of the primaries tacked tomorrow and be ready to start finishing them by the end of the week.
  14. Matte military green paint, matte black wheels, dark ass tint.
