It would suck to be the trash guy, or the valet as stated above, in this weather. I'd be wearing a mask for either, regardless of how many people would think I was trying to steal their cars.
Rich, I like that explanation. I've been on Mid-Ohio before, and from the little experience that I've had, it seems that it's just a lot of common sense stuff. Don't gas hard in the middle of turns, keep in mind your suspension loading, etc.
Skydive and skydive again i guess? Just gotta have the stones to do it.
This Dwain Weston guy (guy who crashed into the bridge) is fascinating me. I've been searching, but I can't find the original video. Can anyone find it?
I've been an Import Tuner subscriber since the early '00s. I've been looking for another mag to subscribe to, and SCC was going to be my best bet. Oh well, I'll check out Grassrooots, and I have liked D-Sport for awhile.
Agreed. I'd be there to learn, and having some of the veteran drivers speak and give advice would be great.
I just thought of something. With me being 17, would I still be able to drive as long as I get my parents' consent?
If the event was run the right way and there was no one driving way over their heads, then this would be a great event.
Any ideas as to when this would be held, or is it just depending?
Forgot the shameless Firehead plug in my previous post.
If this does happen, I will be taking pics/vids (of the event in general, and then of specific cars [for a small fee of course]) if anyone's interested.
I will be getting a few different camera mounts in addition to my tripods, so I will have in-car mounting (I'm hoping) for caged and non-caged cars.
Now, let's make this happen!
