  1. Ppl's pay or level in an organization doesn't mean the degree and school is a respected institution. Many times these degrees are simply checks in box that help individuals get past a hurdle and are already tracked to success. It really depends what you're looking to get out of this degree wrt to your career.
  2. Where were you on BF? So many good deals out there. Refurbed ipad 3's on apple.com were really good deals...some are still out there. Apple returns are practically brand new in quality. Walmart had them for $399 plus $75 gift card without dealing with the store.
  3. What are you looking to get a degree in? Undergrad? Grad? Major? Just make sure the college is accredited.
  4. My friends got a really clean Mazdaspeed 3 he's looking to sell soon. Sporty yet roomy at the same time. Not completely riced out and no amateur high school shit either. BMWs are amazing to drive. The feel is great and the luxurious interior of any of the mid-level vehicles from the luxury brands cant be beat. I spend a considerable amount of time in my vehicle and enjoy the finer things in life. But be prepared to pay to keep them maintained, and they do have issues later on down the road past warranties...nothing major like a new engine though.
  5. I second Chicago. Tons of things to see and do. Ive taken my fiance several times.
  6. Sounds like youll want the larger ipad 4 with the A6 processor. The mini is great for portability, but sounds like you could use the extra horsepower if you plan on doing some light media editing. The mini will probably be a christmas present for the wife since the smaller form factor is perfect for her small hands and portability in her purse. Problem with the other tablets is nobody has really perfected the GUI quite like Apple. Apple may be more expensive and not have faster/lighter/cheaper attributes, but theyre overall package from the use of the laptop to itunes and App store blow Android out of the water.
  7. We've got a mandate next season Ill see you there atleast a few times.
  8. Love my Q2s for double duty track and street when I road street. For street only, I loved my Roadsmart rear. Good combo of grip and longevity. NinjaNick has a zx14 and tears through the country backroads with Roadsmarts no issue.
  9. If youre saying it's not possible or you think it doesnt happen you may be living in a dream world. Its reality, being able to talk about it and not calling either side of the discussion racists would be a step in the right direction for society. Sometimes these topics are too "taboo" for most...
  10. Enjoy...this track looks incredibly fun and technical...I cant wait to finally get back home and have an opportunity to ride this if give the chance. http://www.redbullusa.com/cs/Satellite/en_US/Video/circuit-of-the-americas-pov-021243273609988
  11. Just consider youre sample as compared to the general population when you ask the board for advice on anything. For example, gun and motorcycle advice I would expect to be dead on....financial advice you saw varies across the spectrum. Working with smart friends can be a good thing. drawing the line and defining the boundaries and courses of action up front will only help foster a great business idea. Think big and good luck with it...My friend and I spend many times sitting around thinking about such things and how to execute after or even during our military careers. Unfortunately, unless you have a large bank roll or cap venturist backing you..you cant make the housing decision seperate of the business decision. I assume you need the capital. It's going to come down to a cost benefit analysis. Sell the house now and potentially grow your biz or risk the company growth just to make 10% later down the road. Depending on the complexities of your biz, you're not going to want to deal with the hassles of a rented house...100% focus on the new venture. Btw, you've got a PM coming your way.
  12. I wouldnt have posted it if I didnt think it was a good deal edit: folks have been selling the printer for about $100 on ebay as well to recoup some of that cost...getting you in your budget in the long run. let me know if you're looking to do the same.
  13. this seems like a great deal if you dont mind it being backordered. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?SID=F012A00BD320209ZZ0A00320209C598A01A0A0&is=REG&Q=&PID=227502&A=details&AID=10654978&O=productlist&sku=896664
  14. Never said charge lots of money. The whole point is charge less than huge firms and form a clientele base (mainly small biz) that is happy. But its not something he should do if he's not prepared to form a business case and evaluate the market in the area.
  15. So I would think on a bigger scale and maybe establish your own business/LLC. Contract out the work (setup and follow-on IT support). Establish a clientele, gain positive feedback/recommendations, and branch out. Come up with a business plan, logistics, sustainment, etc. Open your aperture a little, but then again my goals and your goals in life may be drastically different. Looks like a great opportunity either way you go.

    iPad Mini

I suggest some folks read about disruptive and sustaining innovations...Clayton Christensen is a great author on the topics. Not everyone is in school producing powerpoints and reports. I'd venture out and guess a majority of ppl use their comps primarily for internet and media use. The tablet is great for portability and gets 95% of what I need done. The apps and itunes ecosystem Apple created is unmatched by ANYTHING out there right now.
  17. Welcome from Beavercreek...most of the folks here have no idea what theyre missing out on with roads like Angeles Forest Hwy and Pacific Coast.
  18. I had the same experience saturday as Cheech had mentioned...only it was to my benefit at the craps table. Kid looked like he was 12 and could not do simple math. After my friend's hot rolls, we quickly left. Table mins everywhere were ridiculously high considering the crowd. Blackjack dealers were absolutely horrible. When I got dirty looks for doubling down on 8-3 while the dealer showed a 3...he's absolutely idiotic. Roulette was even worse. It took nearly 5 minutes per spin. That place had potential, but the dealers and staff are horrendous. Thurman's for the first time was a plus tho.
  19. Austin is amazing. Looks like im heading home that weekend. Beware that if you wait til a closer date to get a hotel...youll most likely find one outside of austin. See F1 as an example.
  20. I was getting false neutrals on my bike...ended up being the 3 shift forks worn to shit.
