  1. His & Her Diaries

    HER DIARY:

Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird.

We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it.

Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk.

He agreed, but he didn't say much.

I asked him what was wrong; he said, 'Nothing.' I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it.

On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior. I don't know why he didn't say, 'I love you, too.'

When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent.

Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. To my surprise, he responded to my caress, and we made love. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep--- I cried. I don't know what to do.

I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.

    HIS DIARY:

My bike wouldn't start today, but at least I got laid.

  2. Vids are common. It was actually linked to YouTube and honestly, at any given track day, people have helmet cams and the like all the time. It's a free world and if it bothers you to be "filmed" riding, simply stay home.

It isn't a big deal, man...

I would worry more about the line choices shown than anything or how you can get up to a better rate of speed efficiently and to become more effective in your overall riding ability. Videos can help with that and can be a great learning tool.

Again, I was being facetious more than anything. However it was still a shock to see myself unexpectedly.

I agree with video being a helpful tool. I would like have someone sit down and give pointers based on myself being filmed (not really this one though). I find that I keep reverting my focus to (chasing/following/not running into) the coach or the next person in line.

I've hit the track once a year for the last few, so I feel like I'm starting over each time. I plan on going much more next year so I can build a bit.

  3. Looking forward to getting home and seeing it, as a firewall won't let me at the moment.

Don't build it up too much. It was my first time back on the bike in a month after blowing out my knee. I had to take the brace off to fit into my leathers, so I wasn't very comfortable, to say the least. Add to that that it was cooling off quickly and the surface was starting to feel slippy...

I can come up with more excuses if anyone needs them. :D

We slowed down a lot going up the short straight--Found out later the coach was waving me to pass him, but I couldn't make out what he was doing as we were riding directly into the sun.

Have I showed you my new cameras yet?

    Is that a trick question?

  4. So I was minding my own business, Just watching videos on the internet...

Click on a related video, then another...Watching one, I start to think to myself--"That looks like my back". Shot tightens a bit--That is definitely my rear end! Definitely not as impressive seeing myself going at it on video as it was in my head.

Kinda feel a little violated. Didn't know I was being filmed, or by whom...And then posted on the internet.

  5. Apparently I am not racer-shaped.

I've a Gericke 1-pc suit I'd like to have altered. Anyone have any experience/suggestions on who to contact about having this done? Someone mentioned Barnacle Bill a couple of years ago...Any other's? Localish?

Suit fits snug yet comfortable from shoulders to crotch...Then the legs are a little long and baggy.

    Thanks in advance.

  6. Howdy all.

Signed up a few days ago and finally introducing myself...Currently live in C-bus...Ride an '03 Mille.

Usually haven't much to say...but when I do, I'm a bit of a--how do you say in English?--Hopeless Semantic. So I'll apologize for my smart-assery in advance. :D

Looking forward to the camaraderie, enlightenment, and jovial discussion.
