  1. haha, well I live in an apartment... a pretty good sized place for an apartment actually- 2,000sq.ft.. And I actually cook quite often, so no motorcycle in the kitchen ...in the living room is perfect for me, cause I also still have a very large dining room for a "hang out place". (my dining room is actually bigger than my living room) The motorcycle, and tools and parts only take up half of my living room, I still have a futon, a table, end tables, and lazy boy chair fitting in here... All in all, it is heaven for me! haha
  2. Would SO LOVE TO. Gah, I want two more bikes. A cruiser bike to do my coast to coast ride on in the summer, and a dear god I want a TRACK BIKE!! Although I could be very easily tempted into bringing my winter project bike to the track once I am all done with it come springtime....
  3. haha, no slacking here when you sit on your futon in the living room and stare directly at a motorcycle all in pieces! hahaha Thanks for lookin out for me though;) Yeah no kidding me man, I'm SO HAPPY about that steal.... The cheapest I can find it for is 1dollar a LB., I don't think they realized how big of a steal they gave me! It made my day! Awww man, kwaks aren't supposed to be sitting collecting dust man Take care of that PLEASE!!! hahahahaha! Yeah no girlfriend here, but honestly, the girls that I have had come over find it kinda cool that it is in the living room...IDK maybe its so manly to have a motorcycle in the living room that is actually a bit of a turn on? hahaha!
  4. Lol, i actually thought about it....there are a couple turbos laying around in the garage.... but motor work is the last thing on the list, first is handling, weight cutting, and cosmetics. Yeah I prolly will end up using some HIDs....still not positive about what I want for lights up front, I think I need what will be the new tank and tail on the bike to be able to look at it and see what I would look good for a headlight assembly LMAO! All that work, and all you have to comment on is the dirty greasy old chain? LOL!
  5. Tonights work--- I went from being pissed the fawk off, with making foam molds... to walking a half mile to an art store to buy some clay to getting 50lbs of clay for half the price of 25lbs (i got 50lbs for 9dollars!) to carrying 50lbs of clay a half mile back to my apartment to being happy as can be, finally working with a medium I am good and familiar with PICTURE TIME! NOTE-I built the clay up a good bit higher than what it will be, so that I can sand it down to the level and angle that I want with perfection on matching angles and curves. This is still rather rough. 2nd NOTE- BOBBER SEAT! WOOOOooo YES. DW!........
  6. Did some more work last night.... I was just gonna wait to post all the polished stuff when I was done, but I know you guys like updates and seeing work getting done, and I am sitting at work with nothing to do so I'll upload my two pics. Neither of these are finished, but you can see the shiny-ness on them. Just did one side of it.....thinking about having certain parts/sides painted, and other ones polished. Cleaned up then painted the inside of the shock linkage here, then sanded, getting to the polished staged....
  7. Pics or we stone you. Welcome aboard!
  8. They are just bolt on driving lights.... The ones from a car are a lot bigger, but I will say I wired these things to my buck and they were impressive- I think they are 55w each. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't end up using these lights though, it was just an idea of mine that I wanted to check out.
  9. 1Dollar on a sprite 20oz.today... This weekend was a crazy spending spree..... Swingarm, wheel, clipons, USDs, paint remover, foam blocks, glue, paint, plastic and whatnot to cover the hardwood floors that I am doing my bike build on....
  10. Yeah forsure forsure dual disc brakes would help with that.... PMd about the measurements.
  11. DRAT!.......... For some odd reason some girls tend to think my whole "building a motorcycle in the living room" is odd and uncool or whatever.....I personally think it is heaven. I gotta find myself a mechanics kinda girl......that is actually still a girl! haha
  12. AY-BAYBAY .....Welcome..... Oh and uhmmm like jrmmiii said......
  13. Ohhhhhhhh I see how it is....."some member" suggested you join, but you don't give a shout out to him....what a hater. WELCOME ABOARD DUDE MAN! By the way, I think I am due for another voicemail.... PLEASE? HAHAHAA!!!!!!
  14. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Omg, i lol'd!!!!!
  15. DUDE. AWESOME PICTURE tbutera, that thing could be in an ad!
  16. Dude I am fawkin on it! Just let me know:metal: haha about the dual disc brakes?
  17. should be fixed.... it was only wrong for like a minute lol. And Dooooooooood tbutera! you gotta see it with volume... I DIE from laughing everytime I watch him start the bike....and you gotta have volume to know why.... lol I just laughed thinking about it! hahahaha!
  18. oh wow that could be SICK looking man! I will look into that..... I just am trying to define the line in my head of how much of a "showy" looking bike I want it to be. Ahhh and I am ALL FOR the survival type bikes! RAT FIGHTERS FTMFW!!! I'll getcha some tape-measure measures tonight. And hell I'll prolly be getting rid of the whole front end off my bike, so you could even be having dual disc brakes...
  19. Haha yeah it makes me so happy every time I come home and open my door, and see my motorcycle sitting in my living room! I will be putting much more protection down on the floor, I just was too eager to start on the build! And thanks for the tip about tying something from the stand to the wheel... I was just gonna throw it up on a crate.... As for plans, yep yep I'm cool with disclosing that, and WILL... once I actually have it figured out! haha! I spent a lot of time thinking about it this weekend and planning it all out, and I think I have it all figured out now. The swingarm since it is aluminum, will be polished, and possibly the same with the rims. I am working on some photoshop stuff now- as far as tailpiece/subframe, tank, and color scheme....
  20. Just something I've been tossing around in my head.... And one more pic.... Just one of the options/ideas I have for the front end on mine bike....and of course that is a very rough version of what it would be, but you get the idea.... Whatcha think?
