The swingarm is off a vfr750... It is just about a straight up bolt on mod, all it takes is like a 20mm spacer...

Thanks man, yeah at first I was like the FIRST things to go will be the red oil pan, mirrors, and light....now the oilpan is growing on me, as it also has other red parts on it(sprocket, fork covers, bottom triple etc) Yeah no kidding! The guy that built it I was told worked at a bike shop... It wasn't half assed at all, I'm real impressed with it.

EXACT-A-MUNGO DUDE! But I do have to sell the front end suspension that I pieced together for it (a lil over 500bucks) so I can get myself out of the lil bit of debt I am in from buying this bike. But I still plan on putting USDs on my project bike and finishing it..just with not such an expensive front end and whatnot... IDK I got a couple things that might be happening to that bike..

Well I have an ENTIRE project bike....And it is actually pretty close to completion.... And then I went and bought a 900rr and now I have no money currently to finish the build... But the bike is SO AMAZING (check out "I made a purchase" thread in the daily ride) So it is all good, very very good..... She is actually my girlfriend/wife and already took my last name.... her name is Rhonda Ruehs:woo: We are a happy couple. Me and a 900rr...true love.

Sorry for the teaser pics... I charged up my camera last night, and then realized that I guess I left my cable to transfer my pics to my computer at my work.... So here is what I took with my blackberry to use as my background on it lol! I will love her long time.... And the best thing of all, is there are tons more parts the guy FAILED to mention that he added on here that are all aftermarket parts...OMG, I will create the whole parts list soon.... It is ridiculous! AND NEW REAL CAMERA QUALITY PICS WILL BE UP TOMORROW! (I think)

well it was a really nice bike the seller had.... pictures did not do it justice at all....

Yeah there is some good parts put on it, but it still needs a tail swap, prolly USD front end and 17" front wheel, mirrors, and headlight. Some WORK was done, but honestly most stuff on the bike is just bolt on stuff...

Cool cool, thanks for the replies guys! I also went and checked insurance on it for me and it is 65 a month! wooo! (for me that is cheap..I was expecting a big spike in the price from my ninja600 to this 900RR) And speedytriple- I'll be getting this bike for HELLA cheap, like you all might kill me and steal my bike cheap. The dude hit hard times, and is needing to sell the bike in the winter, makes for a low price and not many buyers.... Except me on Saturday!

What would you all pay for it knowing all the parts and work that is in it, 5k miles on it, and a salvage title? (and now I also know most of you are fans of fairings on a bike, while I am not)

Yep yep salvage title. And I will for sure be inspecting every little piece on it. But the real kicker is.......5,000 miles on it.

Yeah man, I actually still plan on finishing it for spring. But I just won't be sticking in the expensive parts, I've got over 500bucks in JUST the front end suspension for it. I'll just slap the original front suspension back on there, I can do a front end swap at any time in the future, its no big deal, just I got really nice, and also kinda expensive parts. The bike build will still be finished, just not in February, more likely in April. You will still see updates on it, as I still have to finish the tank and tail, rear suspension, and all that other lil stuff.

And putting my build on a little hold, and selling the expensive parts. Yeah Optimo, I can get tires cheap that's no problem, it's the darn rim and rotors that are so pricey for the forks I have. ----------------------------------------- Ok so I know you guys love pics... I apologize for the crappy quality, I took the pics off of pics on my laptop screen, it wouldn't let me copy and paste the pics for some reason, wrong format or something idk, I'll have good pics when they actually get here. So here is what I have bought- Just bought this 06 gsxr 1000 front and rim and rotors off ebay a couple mins ago! Calipers and lines and pads GPZ900 triple, that I bought just for the stem that presses out.

haha yeah man if I had some more money it would not be a problem finishing this bike in a timely fashion, but since I don't exactly have much cash I have to hunt ebay and forums for goodsteals, err I mean gooddeals. Almost bought the front wheel, tire, and rotors that I need yesterday but the darn seller would not return my question about the condition of my tire.... The stupid front wheel is really pissing me off, it seems like that will be the most expensive part of this whole build. I'm limited to an 06-09 gsxr 600/750 front wheel and dang it seems like they never sell for less than 170 for just the rim!
