  1. So close to making something, somewhat funny. Just a "k" away, and understanding the implication.
  2. I've spent all week researching reverse light LED's for the STi. I have a site that I'll post here, once I get to the laptop where I have the info.
  3. Thanks Aaron!!! This class has only two open seats. We do have another class on the 11th of January with a couple open seats. That class was put together of seven people who live in a nice area that just had a shooting. They reached out to me to put a class together for them and are ok with a few others being in the class. I expect some good info to be exchanged from them. Nothing hits home quite like having an event happen right in your neighborhood.
  4. I have been ordering here for over a year now. I usually get the reman/reloads. I have bought about 3000 rounds of 9mm and quite a bit of 5.56. A few weeks back, I was able to get 1000 rounds of 9mm 124gr, delivered, for $208. I just picked up 1000 rounds of 5.56, delivered for $289. Every deal I have seen else where, I check the same here, and it has always been better here. They run free shipping deals often, and thats when I buy. The only off thing I have heard, is from the guys shooting full auto. The one person I talked to said the powder used fouled the gun faster than other brands. I have not seen this at all in semi auto, bolt, or pump action weapons. Free shipping is going on now http://www.freedommunitions.com/In-Stock-Now-s/53970.htm
  5. As for the heater, do you have propane or natural gas there as well? Couple things; if you don't, I would get your plan for backup power sorted out, with the whole house generator. We use propane for the generator, with a 500 gallon tank. I have a second line off the tank running into my shop, 28'x40'. I heat that with this http://www.menards.com/main/heating-cooling/gas-kerosene-heaters/garage-heaters-and-accessories/vented/75-000-btu-direct-vent-garage-heater/p-2189171-c-6865.htm We also have two secondary heat sources in the house run by propane. They feed off the same line as the generator. If you are all electric, this is just something to think about, since you are out there a little ways. Or go solar.

It's not that I think it would happen. But, I can't over look how interesting it would be.

Anyone else read about Apple to buy Tesla? I can't find the write up right now. But, basically guy who runs Tesla wants to focus on other things. Apple can afford Tesla very easy. Tesla would benefit very well from reliable electronic connection being part of Apple. Side note of, most major player in Apple are huge car enthusiast.
  10. Though rimfire is more subject to have an issue, 95% of the time, cleaning the weapon will lessen the failures. There are some fussy .22's based on ammo. Many people don't break in a .22 semi auto before they complain about it being fussy. The spring is very tight out of the box, and it takes some wear/break in to get the spring rate to a smooth function point. High velocity ammo is helpful too. It gives the extra amount needed to fully compress the spring and allowed for extraction. I'm more inclined to place blame on weapon break in and cleanliness, than it being an ammo issue usually. I'm approaching 8K and 10K rounds through a couple .22's, and that is any ammo I can put in them.
  11. I already have two CR members in this class, and CR classes tent to be pretty fun. Please post here or PM me with any questions.
  12. Sunday, December 28th, from 8am-8pm. Location is New Albany/Johnstown, right at the line, about 15 minutes from Easton. PM me for exact address. This is the 12 hour NRA Basic Pistol class needed to submit for CCL in Ohio. There is extensive emphasis on marksmanship and one on one training. I cover all the NRA needs me to, and add much more. This is a one day course, so you get it done, and over with. Please PM me to get in the class or for any questions. As always, if you are interested in setting up a class with your family and friends, PM me to set something up. Couples, PLEASE do all you can to come together. I want you both on the same page, as shown by the discount. CR rate is $75 per person + $25 for gun rental and ammo, if needed Couples are $125 + $25 for gun rental and ammo, per person if needed Non CR rate is $100 per person + $25 for gun rental and ammo, if needed Couples are $150 + $25 for gun rental and ammo, per person if needed. I commit to making sure you are trained. If you do not pass the range portion, I will retrain you, at no cost, other than gun and ammo use if needed. If you don't pass the written test, I will work with you so you can pass it, at no cost. If you just don't like how I teach and don't want to retrain, I'll give you your money back and you can be on your way.
  13. Most of it has been said. Good and bad. Thrish, I think you guys just moved. But, being on the edge of the city may be something to consider, should you move again. We love being left alone, where I make all the noise in my area. It sounds like you have some recent activity in your area. More than likely that will calm down and the birds will be less often. If not, that's probably an influance to move. I'd take it for what it is for now and be sure you have a safe plan for you home.
  14. Welcome. Pretty good intro. See if you can post the pics, vs just link them. Not a huge deal though. The rotary is not for everyone. This thread is about 5 posts from a "When are you going to LS swap" comment. CR has both sides covered with the love and the hate. There are a few members with redonkulis rotary power and looks, and then there are just your average Joe's, like me. Follow your passion, and again, welcome.
  15. I would put the SR22 over the Walther. If there's a third option, I would put the M&P22 over both.

How does diluted baby shampoo stain anything? That's what he uses.
  17. Just left micro center. Staff was awesome and helpful. Bought my own modem, two HD antenna's, and a Roku3. Riding round with my middle finger in ther air to cable.
  18. Just got off the phone with ATT, they will not cover my area, even though their website map shows they do. They referred me to Centurylink. Nope Nope Nope. Not happening. Call TWC back and got a different person. Expressed my pissed offness. Ended up with 30mgbp internet for $49. Not the $35 I wanted, but I'm done with cable and will fight this battle again in 11 months when they try to raise the price.
  19. Welcome. Read this and update us. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61288
  20. I'm on board with that. I didn't go with them. Just updating info and sitting here pissed about the service and scams from these companies.
  21. My bad, should have been mgbp's. Not mg.
  22. Bringing this back up. Just got off the phone with TWC. Such horrible customer service. 30 minutes into the call, and still can't bring up my account. WTF!! 50 minutes into the call I had to hang up because she couldn't answer my question. Just got off the phone with Centry link. They claim 10mg DSL is as fast as 20mg fiber optic, because they have a dedicated line. Hmmm? $39.99 if you contract with them, otherwise $50 a month. 30 day guarantee. Waiting for a call from U verse.
