Don't care about short term drops. It's still up, and has been climbing. Last week was the only big drop it has seen since the split, and it is back on the climb.

Reading the thread about the Vett crash, in the pics and vids forum, and reading some people's shared mistakes made for good reading. I thought a thread, confessions of driving, might be entertaining. When I first got the FD, I didn't grasp the way the power came on with the sequential stock twin turbos. The first week having the car, it got away from me. I was pulling onto Sawmill road, but had to cross traffic going the other way. It was pretty busy and I had been waiting awhile. A window in traffic opened and I rev'd a little and dumped it. I hit boost instantly and the ass of the car started sliding. Fortunately, there was room to work with on the road, and I drove out of it, making it look like a pretty sweet drift. I shit my pants a little, and was pretty pissed for not knowing the car.

http://www.grimmspeed.com/ In late 2010, I bought ported headers and a HiFlow flex pipe for my Subaru Legacy. At the time, I was working as an instructor in Northern Ohio. I was only sleeping in my house 8 nights a month. I explained the small window I had to get the parts and the work done and I was hoping they could make it happen. They did. Shipping was on time and my 6 hour open time to get the work done all worked out. If not, I would have been driving the RX7 for 2 weeks in late December. NOT what I was wanting to do. Car's great. Parts are great. Fast forward to this week. I have noticed an exhaust leak, and yesterday it was determined that the flex pipe had a large hole in it. This is somewhat common, as I had already replaced it once already. I called Grimmspeed, just to ask about if the pipe was covered in any way. I actually couldn't exactly remember at the time if I put on their flex pipe. They were great to work with on the phone and said just get a picture of the pipe with their logo on it and email it. I did that and sent the pics with their logo. They shipped a new replacement pipe this morning, with return shipping to send them the failed pipe. That's how a company should stand by their parts. They could have said it's been 4 years, too bad. Buy a new pipe. I completely expect that. If you are looking for parts for your import, check out Grimmspeed.

Apple stock $$$$ hahahahaha all the way to the bank. It is simple. It works 99.9% of the time. Shame on people who value reliability and don't need a bunch of gee wiz neato things going on with their phone.

Looking for a place that does bronze/copper dipping

Gun Envy can do it. -
No matter how nice the house or the street is, you will have the crap of that area around you. Kroger will suck to be in. Getting gas nearby will piss you off. The people around that area have hard times, your daily risk assesment will have additional layers of frustrations. Is that how you want to live? If you are fine with that, I'll be over here shutting up if you need anything.

On another note; about the frame rust issue they had. My Uncle had a Tacoma for a long time. Some years ago, he took it in for regular maintance to the dealership. When he came back to get his truck, they pointed to 5 trucks on the lot and asked him to pick a color. He said red. They handed him the keys and a free and clear title to the truck. It turns out his truck frame was rusted so bad they could not let him drive it away. They were in not position to have a new truck. That was pretty awesome for them to have this happen.

I don't know how to use piece and peace. Man, I really need to re read what I write before I hit reply. On another note, I'm all for some John Rambo justice to be delivered to this group. Next week is the anniversary of the Twin Towers attack; I would not be surprised if there is an incident here in the US. Big or small, what happened here in the US that day will be celebrated by those who hate us, by striking again on the same day.

Tacoma's in general, I'd say are pretty great if you want a truck that size and power. I had one a long time ago. That thing saw more air time than a skateboard in the X games. I took it off road all the time, submerged it having 3" of water over the hood, and it never skipped a beat. This was a bone stock truck I leased. I would not having a second though about getting one if I wanted another truck.

It's a good .22 day. I was able to get a couple thousand rounds today, and I didn't lose and arm and a leg.

That is all gone. Pretty good selection of brick ammo $25 and up. 2 box limit.

Better deal. I just got some. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Remingtonreg-22-LR-Rimfire-Ammunition/734676.uts?WTz_l=Header%253BSearch-All+Products

We do this too. Make sure not to cover the return vents. Usually they are wall mounted, but we have 2 that are floor vents. Our HVAC guy was telling us about people covering them, not knowing it was the return.

Not the greatest deal. But, it is super X and some people like that. And, it is .22. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Ammunition/Rimfire-Ammunition%7C/pc/104792580/c/104691780/sc/104536080/Winchester174-Super-X-500-Round-22-LR-Ammunition-with-Wood-Box/1890381.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse.cmd%3FN%3D1100192%26WTz_l%3DSBC%253BBRcms196&WTz_l=SBC%3BBRcms196%3Bcat104536080

Read my post about it in this thread. It's toward the top. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98206&highlight=water+heater&page=20

Forms are on the website. Send in info. One paid really quick. The other was a home inspection. They saw it was all hooked up right and it was what we said it was, no issues.

I have a few threads on this now somewhere on here. We went with a new engery efficient Trane electric heater and AC this year. It has helped tons. We have also insulated a little more to help as well. With programable thermastat. $550 AEP rebate Water heaters are over looked often as using energy all the time. We went with a GE Geospring programable water heater. It uses air temps and a heat pump to heat the water. It's like going from 45 lights on in the house, to 4 lights on. It saves that much power. Also, it lets you program it for if you are out of town, so it isn't heating when not needed. $500 AEP rebate, $350 tax credit, so in the end it was $150. All light bulbs are the energy efficient ones. Windows and doors are the next big thing for us. They are just too damn expensive for what I want to do now.
