What I'm about to write will more than likely end up closing this thread. He wasn't a member on this site. He drove a car that 99% of the members here look up to and would love to have. Let alone, when you see one on the road, it has all of your attention. If by going with what Scotty's parents saw, and then adding "So he was dicking off", where is this even going anymore? I think most here are pretty glad no other car were involved. So if the guy was getting on it, and that's how he went out, good job making it a solo incident and living a little. It's too late to cover the right and wrong of it. All we can do it learn from it and hope, as members here, we don't do something just like this. This is a very likely situation that many members here would find themselves in. I think what many were waiting to hear, was if there was drugs or alcohol as an influence. If there was, we feel better calling him a jackass and thinking we would never do something dumb, like him. But now, it would seem, he simply may have over drove the car. Who hasn't ever done that? Comments like "He was over his head with that Viper", is that suppose to be funny about him being decapitated? There are too many things supporting this was a good guy who had a bad day. CR had a member die in an accident years ago. It was very hard for many to deal with losing a great member to this site. Let's not forget the one's who know this guy, and are probably going through the same thing.

I think I have read that two companies to make a .17 pistol and both have a high FTF FTE rate. That would be a neat round in a pistol. Most places, if you see they have one, they are around $650. They were told from Kel Tec, the pricing would be $448. I missed the deal you told me about. But, when I looked into it, they only had 4 guns to sell. needless to say, those sold quickly.

To some extent, these people will always be at war. They have for decades. Their religion being the scap goat for their reasoning. They really have a "Hitler like" way of looking at things. I think they are trying to come off as purests, wanting to kill the Western way of life, basically saying it lives in sin and creates more sin. To me it is more like they are your typical "take over the world" story from so many movies. They have no honor. No code they seem to live by, other than hating. They hide their faces, knowing what they do is criminal on a world level. There will always be a group like this out there. My hope is we can keep them off our soil as best as possible. World piece is a fairy tale. 6 AM random rant over.

Wouldn't worry about it. No damage on your car, should be no issue. Cool when caps like cars. When I had my BWM with Bryton wheels, I was pulled over by a Dublin cop. I missed seeing the change from 45 to 35. He gave me a warning and stepped back from the car to look at the wheels, then he said " those wheel look amazing on this car".

It's worth it to go buy a trap. I ended up getting one last year and it was a big help. No where near the visitors we once had.

I was offered to pay ahead for what I expect to use, at $1.92 a gallon. I don't think this is terrible in comparing last winters pricing and availability. I heard people paying $4 a gallon last winter. That's $2000 to fill a 500 gallon tank. F that!

I really haven't followed pricing at all, but knew to top off before it gets cold. I ordered mine today at the price of $1.74 a gallon. Propane is our back up and in two winters, we have used 175 gallons. I heat the shop, run the generator, and have a propane fire place in the house for back up heat. Over all, this is just a reminder post for those needing to get propane. We all know once it's cold, the price jumps.

It's unimaginable to fathom what you are going through. Celebrate the time you spent together. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
