  1. I'll be riding out about 2 1/2 hours (gotta add the extra 30 so I'm early ) just to get there for the ride! I'MMMMMM not complaining about it b/c I've got steel balls and the spirit of James Dean lives within me! Being serious for a second.... Come on out! I'm sure you'll have a great time, as I know I will.
  2. I spotted a Red Pre98 Katana 600 (pretty sure of it) turning right from 303 onto Akron-Cleveland as I was pumping gas at the BP. Is that anyone on here, or does anyone know who that was?! Just curious to see if there's a possibility to meet up with another Katana rider in my area!
  3. Ohhhhh ok, thanks. So if I want to adjust either the clutch/brake engagement points it's gonna be a little more involved than changing the lever's distance from the bar?! And I'm not terribly concerned with either my clutch or front brake sensitivity. I just figured if it was an easy and simple adjustment I might as well try something new in case I liked that set up better. As for the brake lever.... I tried to twist the dial with my fingers, and then with pliers and it would budge. Is there a screw or something that I need to loosen/adjust along with the dial?! Or am I just the weakz....
  4. ^ They've got those on the eastside (not the greatest side) of Cleveland too! haha Saw a huge billboard with that on it and nearly ran a redlight b/c I was laughing so hard.
  5. ^ Am I missing something.... Like not fully understanding how my bike works, or missing an obvious thread that covers this?!
  6. So I tried a bunch of different searchs and didn't find anything that specially came right out and explained how to adjust the amount of pull or grab in the clutch and front brake lever. I will have pictures of where mine are at now when I get home from school to help out. I'm thinking about making the clutch slightly tighter and seeing if I like that better than what I have now or whether I like what I have.... Also, I'd like to bring the front brake lever in a little bit closer to the bar when it's completely out and fully disengaged. I'm trying to gap some of the distance my fingers have to reach to get to the lever when disengaged and make my front brake a little more sensitive overall.... Can anyone help me out with this?!
  7. Check this post.... (didn't wanna repost the pics)
  8. You're in our prayers Moose! (Or thoughts if you prefer) If you're still worrying though.... You'll be fine mah man! Back out riding before the end of the season for sure!
  9. ^ Can we get a "gear saved my life" testamonial thread going or something?! This is just another argument for wearing at least your helmet (or even better all your gear) ALL THE TIME! Glad you're OK Brian. Looking at all the pictures, it could have DEFINITELY been a lot worse than it was. Disappointed you won't be able to meet up for the CSBA ride though! I was looking forward to it.... However, you'll be back out riding soon enough. Hang in there and just heal yourself up buddy.
  10. Damnit! I just missed ya. I met up with Kosmo, and we had brought the kid along so we just sat around for awhile and shot the shit.... If I'd have known another OR rider other than Kos was gonna be there I would have went earlier!
  11. I'm sure you're Co workers would understand if you worked the situation a little in your favor if they knew it was because you just COULDN'T resist riding on a day with such AMAZING weather!
  12. However you gotta do it man! I always like to see people taking the initiative!
  13. ^ Same here.... Is this trip coming together more seriously or no?! Any new developments?!
  14. Don't eat it all at once, space it out throguhout the day and hit the gym for 30-60 minutes before work 3-4 times a week. You stick with that and 1) you'll lose however much weight you're trying to, 2) you'll keep it off and 3) you'll be able to eat all the Chipotle you want!
  15. I think we'd ALL be pretty impressed!
  16. Burrito: Just a little rice, black beans, Double chicken (tell them to load it up), lots of corn, a TON of sour cream, lots of cheese and you've got yourself a Man's meal!
  17. EH! Eh.... Now thats just down right inappropriate! WAAAAAY out of line. We prefer you use the term "homosexual-oriented two wheeled motor vehicle" OK?!
  18. Maybe.... Not likely, but, there's a slight possibility.
  19. He's gonna be guiding along and bringing with him the Fresh Fish, the New Meat!
  20. As long as hes got gear on the KKK outfit is more than approved at this point!
  21. What would us Cholos be?! Sunday nights.... ?!
  22. My bad. Every once in awhile even I slip up!
  23. I gotcha. I heard about it.... although I didn't realize it was at only about 10 or so. Either way, I've tried to make it clear: I fully and completely understand the risks and reputation that Katana riders have in Coshocton. I'm more than willing and aware I'm "playing with fire" if you will. Then again, you're ALWAYS playing with fire when you get on a bike, no matter, where, when, how fast your going, what bike, how much experience you have.... etc. THAT'S why I ALWAYS follow the rule ATGALMFT!
  24. No no no. I was saying you're just stirring things up b/c of all that was said on the Latino Ride forum....
