Other than scouring the classifieds, where are good places to look? I'm not keen on craigslist
For sale section on Ohio riders! I bought half of the 15 bikes I've had off Craigslist. You just have to be smart about whatever or wherever your buying. You can be scamed or buy a piece of shit from anyone including the dealer. Use your resources and take someone with you that knows bikes when your looking.

sorry for your loss. A pet is a pet no matter how small. Getting another one wouldn't replace it but it could help ease the pain a little. You will grow to love the new pet as much as the last. You could always look into adopting a pet.
Thank you, yes I have though about finding one on Craigslist that needs a good home. My better half hand fed him and our other one. They get the best of the best.
A member of the family is a member of the family no matter how big or small.Add to the family when you're ready, there's no right or wrong amount of time.
Good point...
Losing a pet is always awful. How long you wait is up to you. For us, it's happened twice in 25 years and it just sort of happened that after a few months we were ready to move on.I was thinking of waiting a month but if it happens sooner than so be it...

the zzr is the EXACT same bike as the 200-2002 Zx-6 minus the fairing stay... its the zx6j same parts everything actually the fairings as all interchangable from the zx9r as well
So its kinda like what Yamaha did to the R6.

Recently one of my bearded dragons died due to health complications. My gf and I took it a lot harder than I thought (at least I would). Today we finally cleaned out his cage and now the room seems so empty. We've talked about getting another one but I'm not sure how long to wait. I never thought I'd feel this way in regards to an animal that is so small but wow I miss him badly.
I almost feel that getting another will help but then I get a conflicting feeling that we should wait out of respect.
Decisions, decisions...

That's what I thought too. I thought the ZZR was more like an F4i where the 636 would be more like the 600RR.
I rode my buddies 05 a few years back and am next to positive the clip ons were above. Night and day difference when riding for long periods of time, imo.

The ZZR is a 2000-2002 ZX6R. I have looked over the ZZR and it is 95% identical to my 01 I had. The ZZR isn't going to be any better for long rides than the 636. The big difference between the two is the 636 will have less weight and about 15 more hp. I would be up for either one, I loved my 01 it was a fun bike.
Dont the clip ons (zzr) sit above the triple similar to the F4I?

wtf is wrong with them if they are priced like so?
I know deals are to be had but those just dont seem right
The 636 has to be a beat to shit stunt bike or former stunt bike. I would check the VIN numbers and make sure its legit. These prices dont seem right for this time of year... I'd be very careful...

differances are
636-636ccFI / ZZR-599cc Carbed
636- Inverted forks, better rear suspention
636- Seupersport / ZZR-Sport touring
636- wet weight less than the ZZR
the obvious body differances... any other questions? ive had both
IMHO- 636 > ZZR
I agree with everything except the last line. I like the 636 but its not great for long rides. The clip ons and riding position suck for bigger guys and/or long rides. Also something to keep in mind. If its been custom painted then treat it as though its been wrecked (or any other bike for that matters). Check the insurance on the two. The zzr being a sport tour should be cheaper. The zzr will be better for street riding/long rides and the 636 will be a better track or stunt riding. The 636 will probably easier to sell when your ready to upgrade. I would not wait for your friend or any seller. Dont deal with dead beats and be cautious when dealing with custom paint jobs.

Good for him!

but....but....my first bike was a 600RR
lol...Mine was a 98 900RR. I told everyone I was just going to take it easy till I got used to it... I ended up backing down to a 600RR after a season on the 900RR. I shouldve been on a 250.

Nice truck and tasteful mods. I still cant believe what guys get out of those.

No idea on the start time but they usually have different weight class for the coaches.
Its just such a big jump. Either way I know where I'll be Wed @ 10PM.
-
Interesting, considering the coaches are heavy weights... When does the season start?
-
Nice ride, and yeah upkeep and you will have that forever!

Congrats! I turn 31 next month and looking back when I first turned 21 feels like yesterday...

I missed #1 because I was thinking of that new FZ8.
The only reason I got that one right was a model I had of the 7.
