Didn't adjust idle. 16K miles. I miss Sunoco. The bike seems to like that the best, then Shell. Marathon is the best in my hood, but I know of a Sunoco not too far away.
it might be worth draining it and picking up Sunoco.
Sounds right to me. I also had a car that did that years back. It was a bad coil pack. I'm not saying thats it but I wouldnt rule it out. Start easy and draiin your tank and find some good gas to put in.

I woke up this morning with the intent of working on my shit box S10. The fuel tank sending unit stopped working almost 6 months ago. I prepared to drop the tank and do the job. As I crawled up under the rust bucket I noticed coolant towards the front of the frame and the tranny was wet. I knew the head gasket needed replaced so I made a mental note that would be next on my list. I then looked to the back of the truck and saw the rearend was wet. I replaced the differential cover last fall and it was fine but the yoke to the driveshaft was where the fluid was coming from. Mental note I need to take care of that. I"m just about ready to start loosening the filler neck and straps when I see something really bad. A crack in the frame. Not to mention a hole about the size of a half dollar. All the other stuff isint a big deal, the crack and hole are. Guess its time to go shopping .. I just hate spending my money on something that gets drivin on crater filled roads and gets bathed in salt... I've never had a problem buying a bike that I had to finance but a cage is a different story...

i saw this on craigslist. why is the bar end missing?
No offense to the op but I cant stand when I see a bike missing one or both of these. Especially when the bikes priced high.

Damn... Sorry to hear. RIP

04/05 GSXR 6/750 tail on a 03 GSXR 6? I think the subframes are the same but was wondering if anyone was sure.

You've had some bad luck lately...

Thanks Monty, but im not driving 3 hrs to save 10%. I had mastercrafts on the wires 4Runner and they wore fast. Only got 30 k. They wore even though.
I have the Yoko HT-S on it now and they are nice, but they seem to be discontinued.
No problem.
Are you close to Jegs? You could go in and tell them that Summit is offering 10% I almost guarantee they will do the same. Also Tire Rack blows away almost everyone else away on price...
-
I had Mastercraft Courser C/T on my '99 Tahoe & have Yoko Geolander HT-S on my '01 Tahoe. Loved the Courser for any weather & the looks, didn't care about gas mileage. The Geolanders are nice as hell for gas mileage & did great last winter.
I cant remember what Mastercrafts I'm running but love them on my truck. They are great all season tires and hold up well.
I work for Summit Racing and not this weekend but the following weekend the retail store is having 10% off. We dont stock a ton of tires for trucks so chances are they will be special order. We also price match but cant combine the 10% with a price match.

For your sake I hope that the emt or fire fighter that may someday have to save your life does not frequent this forum and see you bashing his brothers... the emts and fire fighters in this country deserve the utmost respect they put their lives on the line to save people every second of everyday.... they shouldn't have to stop and think about the outcome of their actions or worry if they will be sued those precious seconds could mean life or death
I dont think he was bashing them. I look at is as the oath they took when being sworn in. I never blamed the men and women who stood by the shore side. It just sickens me that people had to sit and watch. I do agree it would be tuff to rescue someone in water. Years back another guy and myself had to pull a drunk out of a hot tub after he passed out. That was tough enough (granted we were all loaded).

I've never torn apart a bike that old. I'm guessing some wrenches and sockets (metric). I love my 4 inch grinder, torches, and sledge hammer but usually dont use any of those on a bike.
These are the best screw drivers I"ve ever used!

That was a great race! Of all the racing I've watched within the past year that was my favorite. Too bad the rookie blew the last turn.

I had one on a 636 and I busted my junk on the tank every time I rode it. I noticed I was constantly squeezing the tank with my legs to prevent this. I thought it was just due to the seating position and the angle of the seat.

Seriously???? Everyone is jumping for joy? He got what he wanted? Wtf is wrong w people? So no one could go in to save him, but they could go on to retrieve his dead body? Makes sense to me! And they were right to not go in because he could have been a threat? Um, so going into a burning building isn't? And none of these 75 bystanders who weren't "handcuffed" so no need to go in? Until after he's dead? Something seriously muffed up w people.

Yeah I've got to agree with you.
Last year a lifetime friend of my fathers stopped by his house while I was there. The 3 of us talked cars, bikes, and laughed about shit. Two days later he was found dead in his garage from carbon monoxide poisoning. I never like hearing about suicide.
