If I can find a reputable test that uses Rotella in a bike that is just like mine for maybe........50,000 or 100,000 miles than yes I agree. Till then Ill stick with what I know is made for the high RPM that our motorcycles see as well as the high loads our transmission gears see and is wet clutch safe.

Not me. I spend $50.00 on oil and filter per change for MC specific Synthetic oil and a OEM filter. Oil is not a place I wish to cheap out. If you change it every third track day it is still only just a bit more than $16.00 per track day. Why take a chance?

The biggest issue I would have with battery tender solution is that it is not switched so the cigarette plug will always be powered on. I know that some day I would forget to turn off my GPS and would come out to a dead battery.

I hard wired in an accessory power block to my battery and mounted it under my seat. It is switched on and off by my ignition with a relay that is activated by my tail light power wire. I now have a very convenient place to wire in up to four 12v accessories. Something like this one pictured below....
