  8. I am thinking about taking a road trip down to Iron Pony and back next Saturday the 1st of April. I have not mapped it out yet but I am thinking about back roading it down there then simply riding 71 north to 83 on the way back home. Any other NEO folks interested in going?
  9. Are you willing to ship? I know you prefer not to but .......
  10. Not immaculate but pretty damn nice and the fact that I did not have to spend any of my time driving in circles looking for the right bike was priceless.
  11. I am used to it. I made a pretty good living as a Sports Photographer at the highest level for years. I can take criticism but the nice thing is now I don't have to give a shit......
  12. The VFR seat is a one piece type. The velcro straps won't reach around and we all know how important the reach around is......
  13. So can I but why be such a pussy? What ever happened to just knocking on the door and talking with your neighbors....
  14. How about my light pole in the back ground? I tried every angle to move it out of the picture but between my laziness (my truck was on the other side of the driveway and I was not moving it) and the angle of the sun I had no choice..... Exposure was right out of the Canon Rebel and is untouched. Not bad for a consumer level body and lens.
  15. My 96 ate the R/R. I did the PC fan mod on the replacement. It seemed to work.......
  16. $3,500 ...... They were asking $3,800 which I would have paid push come to shove.
  17. Thanks everyone.....I have a Sargent seat on the way as well as a Marsee tank bag Going to "tour" her out
  18. My past..... I am missing pictures of my 1986 and 1987's though... Present...
  19. Alright!! Looks like I am officially member #2!! I am on my 5th VFR now and as I do seem to stray away from the model from time to time I do always seem to find my way back.....
  20. I dont know anyone who buys a new bikes then says "I HATE THIS THING" I will be no different. Holy Shit I love riding this VFR. It's more than fast enough, very stable through the turns and rides like your on air....really. The V4 makes all the right noises and the exhaust note from the can is reminiscent of a F1 car. I rode for about 1.5 hours today and the smile never left my face Now comparing the RC51 to a VFR is akin to comparing a Corvette to a Nascar but here goes.... Comfort........... really? there is none on the RC. Ass high and hands low. The perfect position for getting around Mid Ohio fast but it sucks when traveling for 60 straight ass miles down 83. You sit in the VFR as opposed to sitting on the RC. Once on the VFR your butt feels low and the handlebars are in a perfect natural position. Real world low, sporty but not race replica'ish. Suspension..... The RC was taught and felt phenomenal in the turns. The suspension felt fine in day to day riding as well but was a little jarring on sharp bumps. The VFR feels very stable on the smooth turns but does tend to wallow a bit when the road gets at all bumpy. It is a bit soft for me but some preload tweaking may help with that. Engine..... The RC was stronger everywhere from 6,000 on up. The sound was amazing but I hated when ever I had to run through town at 30 mph Either I had to keep the bike a gear or two high and scream it or it would just cam up and start snatching the chain. The VFR on the other hand still pulls very strong from off idle up to 10,000 or so but is very smooth even when cruising a gear to low. Very flexable engine.
  21. Congrats on what I think must be a dream job. Nice to work for a company that is on the cutting edge!!
