  1. Fun COVID story. My roommate at PRI hit positive for COVID. He was in close contact with me of course and our entire team at the trade show for 4 days.

Nobody else got COVID, several were unvaxxed and didn't wear masks.

We all took tests when we got back, nobody tested positive except for my roommate.

We then took additional tests after, nobody tested positive including me.

Now, I'm no CDC scientist or Dr. Fucci, but you would think statistically at least one of us would have also tested positive.

  2. well what do you expect?

A lot of people felt that even if he was defending himself he was still reckless and they wanted to see him held accountable for that.

I find it entertaining, that's all. These social media lawyers are all big mad in so many hypocritical ways.

  3. Yeah that's been my opinion on everything for a long time now. I probably side more with republicans but I don't agree with either side half the time on anything because of the obvious "taking sides" that goes on. I just wish we could all do things for the right reasons but both sides have gotten to the point of fanatical oppression of the others views on every issue.

Exactly, I can't align myself 100% with either "side" or any elected official. They all try to play to a specific party to stay in power, not do the right thing for the greater good.

I can only control certain things and what the ruling class of this country wants to do or have done isn't one of them.

  4. There are advantages and disadvantages to living in certain areas for sure.

That's why we moved away from the city-style neighborhoods. I have zero interest in living around Karen and Chad types anymore, dealing with HOAs, and stupid city ordinances.

I understand the advantages of a HOA and certain city rules, but they get taken to the extreme by people who *think* they know what's best for people.

I love the fact I can park my race car trailer on my property, Rick can park his here, and I can do whatever I want within reason and don't have someone coming on my property go give me a hard time.

  5. Two crises that we're going to be dealing with for years to come:

    1) Employment - getting millions of people off of $750 government unemployment payments and into lower-paying but economically-vital jobs, WITHOUT causing a U.S. economic correction.

    2) Resource/supply chain control - after decades of letting China do the economic "dirty-work" of the world's consumerism, we're now in a position where China controls production of virtually every product the world needs: even if they don't build it, they likely control the raw materials or supply of products needed for finished goods.

Both of these are of our own doing, and neither will be easy to control if we try to reinstitute balance.

Well, it looks like one problem would solve the other, BUT it would require some sacrifice and other hardships, and as COVID 19 has proven, most in America won't tollerate that.

The China problem has been boiling for a while and is now spilling onto the stove. That coutnry is activitly trying to cripple the United States and people here just spread their ass cheeks more and say "yes daddy"
