Don't have the capital to make up the difference to buy his car, or I would have a while back. Besides I already have some supporting mods for my build that I am not going to get rid of anytime soon.

I will be adding nitrous to the car as it sits now. The instant fix of nitrous is what keeps drawing me to it, but the cost of building a really good nitrous motor down the line is keeping me away. This will be done it two steps when it comes to the motor: 1. Get power adder on car as it is. 2. Build motor for power adder that can deal with the wick being turned up

I know what you could do with the car, and that is why I know if I put Nitrous on the car I would become an addict. Good feedback so far.

Ok, I am getting to the point where I need to finalize what I am going to do with the car. Right now I am leaning toward boosting the car, but have not ruled out Nitrous 100% I know the general pros vs cons of each but looking for more input and have been all over LS1tech on this. I am looking for input from locals who have been there done that. The final goal with the car is the ability to click off mid to low 10s, able to still drive on the street to the track, no reliability issues. Now I know there will be some trade offs and the car won't have stock street manners, but I am ok with that.

I think there is still a hobbyshop in town that deals mostly in trains, I would go talk to them and see what they say. You can alos see if the local shops will let you post some flyers up about the auction. There is also a good website http://www.hobbytalk.com that you could post on. I am not sure what their rules would be for something like this, but there is a section dedicated to trains. Call the hobbytown on the west side to find out when Chuck is working still. That guy knows his stuff about trains and might be able to help you find some places too. From working at a hobbyshop for 3+ years I can tell you that trail people will spend big money on stuff. If you have somthing they want or need cost will not be an option.

I try to take some ownership in making this site enjoyable for a majority of the members. It is not that I am jaded, I just want to see things stay positive and growth to occur. For those that actually come to events and have met me that can attest to the fact I am just as big of a dumbass and random in person. I am a certified car nut that likes anything loud, fast and dangerous. In my mind CR started out as one thing and has transformed into something much better and well rounded. The model going forward should be one that includes all who enjoy cars, racing, and things that fall within that circle of kick assness. The downside is that in the transformation process things have happened, rules had to be made, and must be enforced. Some people don't like rules on this site, or in real life and that is just how things are. They will try to push and break those rules and don't like it when they are punished for this. In the end this is the internet, not super serious business and if you take things to personal on this website or any other you should get a dog, cat, or hooker.

Now this is a nice thing to see, a useful suggestion that actually has some merit.
