  1. It depends on what you're trying to do. YouTube was just one of the ways we deliver content, we also put the shows on horsepowerwars.com the TV thing expands distribution even more. Google/YouTube really has and continues to screw content creators, even more so if you're content isn't something they like. The rules are always changing and they don't hold people to the same sets fo rules.
  2. MAVTV has picked up the 3rd season of our show that I help with. This is a HUGE step and now opens the door for us to get on the Netflix/HULU/Amazon Prime train as a company. I've been helping with the stories for each episode and all I can say is this year is the most intense yet.
  3. Update: Lots of parts finally came in, head stud failed in block while torquing, time to build an engine. #YOLO...
  4. In the fine print it says you cannot use the truck to tow with. It voids the insurance you purchase because you're violating the rental agreement. When you rent a truck a well trained ERAC employee will remind you that you can't tow with it. Here's the thing about the credit card insurance, it will cover you, eventually.... The first thing that will happen is ERAC is going to pop you for your insurance deductable and file a claim against your insurance. After that, the fight begins between you, the loss control department at ERAC, and the credit card company. Now, if you have the ERAC insurance, don't violate the rental contract, and return the car on a roll back they'll take a statement from you and tell you to have a nice day. I worked for ERAC for over two years and spent a year helping to run a large branch. Some of the shit I saw at that company will blow your mind.
  5. Don't tow with a rented vehicle from Enterprise unless it's from their truck division. If something goes wrong you're going to have a bad time, trust me.
  6. Man, I love those cars. If I ever make real money someday I'll own one.
  7. Due to COVID my wife was just let go from her HR recruiting job and needs a new gig. Anybody out there in the Columbus area have a connection or can help out? Clay has already provided one but we need to get a lot of lines in the water ASAP so I don't have to start an OnlyFans account to make ends meet...
  8. But...but.....but..... ORANGE MAN BAD I'm laughing at all of the people that were SCREAMING about keeping everything closed on social media that are now crying about no OSU football...
  9. In the comics, Stormfront is a dude and came from nazi experiments
  10. I need to start Season 2. There are some great videos on YouTube that explain backstories but it does give away where the show might go. They've already strayed away from a lot of the original material, however, it has been in a good way.
  11. Yes, and they're preparing for the civil unrest that's going to happen. I talk with CEO of one of the biggest aftermarket companies in the world and he's planning for a double-digit hit worse case just to be safe.
  12. Companies are also digging in and getting ready to take the election hit. COVID problems are going to keep coming for a while and do damage, but the election blow is going to really make things bad.
  13. It's California, surprised he wasn't naked
  14. Yep, the Coyote is a great engine but she's a big girl with wide hips. Same thing with a Gen III HEMI, just hard to fit it in a smaller engine bay. I might have to adjust the chassis I use based on the price I can score one for. Outside of the engine swap I only see myself throwing some money at the suspension for coilovers maybe.
  15. I'm looking to build something that's NOT a race car, got that base covered already. My goal with this build is just a nice overall car with about 400-500 hp. The driveline will be LS or LT based with a 6-speed for sure. If by the time I'm ready to build and there's a Coyote swap option that will go in for sure. After doing the research it will be either an E36 or E92. I like both of those body styles and there's plenty of parts for them based on my build goals.
  16. Turbo talk https://www.dragzine.com/tech-stories/turbo-fun-boost-basics-for-the-ls-based-engine-platform/
  17. Welp, that escalated quickly...
  18. The majority of the tech articles you see in the automotive media that involve parts are pay to play. That means the company provides the parts you are going to use. There are some instances where the person has to buy some or all of the stuff at a discounted price. For all of our builds there are some parts we have to purchase at a discount, I've got a few on this build. You also run into situations where the parts you want to use and the ones you have to use are not the same, ran into that before as well. This one's going to be interesting because as far as I know nobody has every done what we're doing with the fuel system before on an f-body like this. My original pumbing plan ended up not being the best overall fit so the one Scott came up with is going to be the one we use. That's something I'm going to talk about in the article for sure. With this setup on medium boost the car should run mid 9s. If we turn it up, it should run bottom 9s if the track is there. Not looking forward to tearing the interior out for that 8.50 cert cage...
  19. So Cordell and I are switching my car over to a single turbo and using his old Camaro engine. Long story short, my nitrous LS1 engine had a moment so it got yanked and I got the bright idea to just redo the car. 20. They just made it official on the website, truly a huge blow for so many companies. It's really going to hurt Vegas bad. I'm worried about PRI getting hit next For those to lazy to go look... SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association, announced today that due to Covid-19 and concerns that event facilities and services will be unavailable, the SEMA Show will not be taking place in 2020. While both event organizers and industry members have been working tirelessly to deliver an outstanding SEMA Show in November, mounting uncertainty has rendered continuing with the event inadvisable. SEMA expects the decision will bring much needed clarity to an uncertain picture and will help exhibitors, attendees and partners plan accordingly. Recent SEMA Show survey results indicated interest in a possible virtual tradecshow with related live elements. SEMA will be working with industry members to determine interest levels on specific alternatives. “The SEMA Show is committed to furthering businesses in the automotive specialty equipment market, and to providing manufacturers and buyers with the best opportunity to connect, promote new products and discover new trends,” said Chris Kersting, SEMA president and CEO. “We appreciate the spirit, hard work and innovation our industry puts into the SEMA Show each year. While we are disappointed circumstances prevent us from hosting the Show in November, we look forward to getting everyone together in 2021 for another outstanding event.”
