Well, I'm going to try and bring my step ladder this weekend and bust out the 50mm lens for some other shots. Doug's 1931 Hot Rod will be run as a full feature on Rod Authority and there are some other local cars that are approved for full features. Columbus Cars and Coffe.net is going to have a big 2015 with its quality, legit rides that show up every week :fuckyeah:

People have been telling them for years via e-mail, phone, face to face, and with their wallets, they just don't care...

I was doing some research this morning and those ranges seem to be close. Lots of people were going with the Yank 3600-3800 stalls. If you get a chance give them a call, or I can shoot him an e-mail if you send all the original specs of the converter to me.

I need to get the billet faced Circle D converter in my car tightened up, like a bunch. Is there a good local shop that can do this? I know of a place up on BFE outside of Mt Vernon my dad uses, but if I can find a good shop in the Columbus metro area I will use them. I don't want a place that will have a slow turnaround time either.

I know just enough about prep to be dangerous, and they are doing it wrong there. That track needs to be scraped down more often, needs upkeep during the week, needs drug more, and just needs work. Look at how Kurt Johnson at Norwalk or Jason Millier at MIR work a track and that is how it should be done.

Yep, the big reason that place is not safe, metal ARMCO's will rip a car apart along with the driver. Happen to someone my family raced with for years, trust me its not how you want to go

The tech and the track is a joke. If somebody who knew what they were doing would buy the place, put just a little money into it, they could really put a hurting on trails. I've been up there a few times and won't run my car there ever again. Some people claim they made glory passes there years ago, but the past 2 years I've been there the prep is a joke and the track is not safe.

If you want to travel: Norwalk or KilKare Local: Pacemakers Avoid: MCIR (Marion County International Raceway)- Track is not safe, not prepped well, and allows unsafe practices. Meh: Trails, might be prepped, might not.

If you are buying just one, $20. That is the high res digital copy that you can print off.

That track was junk at best. Everybody was having a hard time getting down the track and the prep was laughable.

I don't know how much with how slick that track was, the 1-2 shift might have been mor of an adventure than you wanted :lolguy:

There was no stick to that track at all and watching how they prep explains 100% of their problems. I know its a private track rental, but at least they could make some effort to give us a surface that even high power street cars could go down.

Yeah, just don't chop the watermark. All of our shots for this track day are for sale. You get the full high res shots with no watermark to do what you want with as long as it is not used commercially.

Oh they still have the C5, it won the Real Street title last year with Preston driving, this year Rodney's son is running it instead of his COPO. I've got a lot of respect for Rodney, the guy has busted his ass to earn everything he owns, no trust fund money, no bullshit, just hard work.

When they get this car sorted out it will shock the world. It very well could set the record and run low 3.90's after they get it sorted out.
