  1. Thanks to Jordan at Jet Auto for providing the hardware :fuckyeah: We are going to be going with the same format from last year and is free to any paid participant of the track day. True Street Columbus Racing Rules. 1. Vehicles will be limited to factory built vehicles, with a legal registered VIN number, simply put no tube chassis race cars. If your vehicle started life as a regular production car and your factory firewall, and floor pans are in place, the body and chassis are legal. 2. Any engine and drive train are legal, exhaust systems will be restricted from being open. There must be a component between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust's exit (muffler, catalytic converter, or turbo). Location of exhaust exit does not matter so long as it meets the previous statement. No open pipes. 3. Vehicle must be road legal and you will be responsible for that legality for the cruise portion of this event. The point here is not to conduct DOT inspections, but to inspect the basics. We will be looking for working brake lights, and turn signals. You must have a currently valid licence plate on the vehicle. 4. Tires must have manufactured DOT label on them. No size restrictions, no other inspection of tires. There will be a 30 mile supervised cruise on highway and city streets prior to competition, limited to those vehicles that have passed tech inspection. A escort will supervise the cruise in accordance with local laws and ordinances. Each competitor and crew will be on their own reconnaissance during the escort and cruise and bear the full responsibility of their actions as they would on city streets. Please be safe and follow all traffic laws during the cruise. If you fail to make it back you will be disqualified. If you get separated from the group it will be the escort's judgement if you completed the miles and made it back in a timely fashion, if any sort of cheating is suspected you will be disqualified. COOLDOWN PERIOD/RETURN PROCEDURES After the vehicles return from the road tour, they will return directly to the designated staging lanes for the cool-down period. They may not change tires. The cool-down period will typically last between 15 and 45 minutes. During this cool down period only, entrants may adjust tire pressure only. A strict CLOSED HOOD policy will be in effect until a competitor has completed his or her three back to back passes. No re-fueling allowed once car leaves on cruise. No laptops or bluetooth devices in or around vehicle, no adding, removing, or adjusting anything except tire pressure. Air tanks will not be allowed in the staging lanes, so adding air to tires is not allowed. FINAL STANDINGS After all three quarter mile passes are completed, each racer’s ET’s will be added together and divided by 3. This will be your score, you must not fall below your class's index number. CREW MEMBERS Crew members are not permitted around participating vehicles, in the staging lanes, or in the burnout area, between rounds of competition. The only exception is to aid in the repacking of vehicle's parachute. ***route Line up on the entrance road where we will do final tech. You will need to turn your hazards and lights on, we will also be checking tires. Left out of track. Right on Rt 13, right on I-70, Exit at Rt 158, right onto Rt 40, left back into track.**** We are going to play the time by ear to see if there are going to be any weather issues. In theory, we will do the cruise right after lunch then do the 3 back to back passes. **this is subject to change***

  8. I've seen blankets and belly pans save many a car from doing a front side face plant into the wall
  9. I will hit you two up tonight after work.
  10. The stuff I have to deal with anymore is just crazy. Like today, I had to file 84 liens for a client in that went to 25 different states and had to be filed in a specific order as part of their closing agreement. The client has no clue what she is doing so I have to hand hold her, explain why her documents won’t get accepted in some places, and why other locations are wrong. There were tax issues that tickled the area of legal advice, and since I’m not an attorney, I can’t give that. So the customer contacts our sales person who happens to be an attorney (and gets paid stupid money) and she can’t or won’t help the customer, throws it back on me. I then have to find a way to help the customer without giving legal advice, all while the sales person makes a huge commission off this deal. In the end if I could get the cushy sales job with my company I would be happy, but as I found out no matter how well qualified, good your interview is, or how much you know those jobs are reserved for certain people. I just want to build a better life and stop rotting away in this nightmare.
  11. More money, more growth potential, something other than working in the current role I have right now. The cuts are coming at my company, I'm just trying to get out of France before the heads start to roll.
  12. We can work something out with that, I need some posters done. Shoot me a PM with the shot you need.
  13. few more from this shoot http://waggz.smugmug.com/Cars/Big-3-Shoot-March-2014/i-nvDkK9q/0/L/_MG_0485-L.jpg http://waggz.smugmug.com/Cars/Big-3-Shoot-March-2014/i-R3zhdSr/0/L/_MG_0531-L.jpg http://waggz.smugmug.com/Cars/Big-3-Shoot-March-2014/i-6gsgGzq/0/L/_MG_0625-L.jpg http://waggz.smugmug.com/Cars/Big-3-Shoot-March-2014/i-zLZXNnv/0/L/_MG_0724-L.jpg

  15. I should roll up in my car and video them telling me to take a hike again since my car is "not up to their standards" :gabe:
  16. According to some he has the right to try to assault a co-worker and get away with it because of who he is :dumb: I mean, I'm kind of a big deal in my office so I should be able to hand out stone cold stunners and tea bag some bishes with no negative outcome under that line of thought :lolguy:
  17. This, this, and this. Before i added any power to my car the suspension was upgraded and then sticky tires were added. You can make more power than John Force, but if you can't get it to the ground you're nothing more than just another buster.
  18. I forget what the exact stuff is in the can, but from what I understand on blower cars that is done to keep things from icing over. That is the steam vent and it has something to do with how those engines operate. Its sort of like a relief valve type deal. On these screw blowers they all blow off a little because of the motor. Ray's car has one where the radio antenna used to be, if you see anything come out of that on a turbo car bad things are about to happen.
  19. It was so cool to see history made at the track, even more so with the conditions. Great team and it was amazing to see all those people on their feet for this pass.
  20. We always get a laugh out of the comments on that video :lolguy:
  21. No ride, but I wish I was a good enough wheelman to drive this bitch because it is bad ass. The article seems to be getting a lot of hits and shares so far, of course with your typical neck beards saying stupid shit about imports. This car was splitting wigs at the Shakedown missing a gear :fuckyeah:
  22. Here is a feature on Ray that I shot the pictures for. Now that the feature has run I'll throw the full gallery up soon. http://www.gm-efi.com/features/car-feature-koolrayz-camaro/
