  1. semantics. does the bullets fly out of their finger tips?

Semantics my ass what about the rest of the post? Hammers are just as deadly as a gun if you were beat witha hammer would that mean that the person beating you had hammers flying out of their hands? I'm pretty sure you're just a pussy that is scared of a tool.

Also you still haven't shown me how a gun has harmed anybody without a human causing it to.

  2. if guns don't kill people I guess you can shoot someone in the face like a cartoon and they'll be ok.

PEOPLE use guns to kill people the gun doesn't do it the PERSON controlling the gun does. More people are killed with hammers than assault rifles. Does that mean hammers are worse in your opinion?

  3. well at least I can count to 4... :nono: and there are several other ways of killing a deer (as if this were some sort of challenge) without using a bullet.

you could use a hammer, a chainsaw, a spear, a knife, a sword, an axe, a pool... they aren't vicious creatures...

None of these ways that you listed are legal for taking deer in Ohio.
Why go through the trouble of trying to steal or smuggle a gun when they can go to the local gun show, or even a gun website with cash and buy whatever they want, no questions asked?
What websites are these? I've got cash and would love to find out where I can buy some cool guns and get them without having them shipped to an FFL dealer that will ask questions.
not trolling, just pointing out situations in which commonly touted talking points from gun lobbyists break down. Namely, "the only time guns are dangerous is if they are in the hands of someone with evil intentions"

How do you know the kid didn't have evil intentions? The mom stated that she thought the gun was unloaded. Do you know for a fact that the kid didn't load the gun and intend to shoot her? Or are you naieve enough to think that all kids are good and would never hurt someone? If so you are dumber than I thought.

  4. So you wouldn't leave a child with a table saw in the room because they or another could get hurt right? The same with a gun. The table saw would not chase a child down and attack it a gun wouldn't either. The point is neither should be left with a child.

But hell I'll go with your situation above. It is possible if a table was sitting in the room with children and the 5yr old got in a fight with his sister or was just playing rough he could shove her onto the saw accidentally. There are several places that she could land and be cut causing her to bleed out in less than minutes.

Quoted myself so magz could see it since he has ignored another post that is logical.

Seriously please tell me a time a gun has fired without it being caused by a person? When you do that I will agree with you that they are evil things. But guns are tools that are no more dangerous than several other things it all depends on how it is handled.

  5. Are you honestly comparing a gun to a table saw? You think he would have turned on a table saw, cranked the blade up then picked up his sister and slid her across the blade? Do they market table saws to children? (other than the Fisher price plastic ones?)

Yes kids drown in pools and buckets, but they don't violently and accidentally blow big holes in their siblings with them. Also if you hear the splash in time, you can perform cpr. What can you do if your child has a hole where their heart should be?

  6. I believe the point is guns don't just magically go off and kill people. why is everyone so careful with them if they're so "safe"? because they're not and you guys live in a state of denial. like the guy's who think a 3 way with 2 dudes doesn't make them bi-sexual.

I have several loaded guns in my house. I carry 2 loaded guns at work daily never has one gone off when I didn't want it to. They will not go off without pressing the trigger with something unless being extremely old or modified and even then it takes extreme circumstances to make them fire. Please show me where a gun has went off without a human causing it to. The Remington 700 triggers were modified to the point where they would drop the hammer modifications done by people. There for the guns were caused to fire by people. It's the same as boring an engine out until the sidewalls are paper thin then saying that whoever manufactured that engine makes crap that will blow.

  7. So it's bad to reference a tragic death to point out that tools designed for causing death are dangerous?

So the only time we can reference guns is in a positive light? Noted...

Key word in there is "tool" the gun did not load aim and fire itself. From the story it states the parents didn't think it was loaded. It's no different than a table saw being left in a room of unattended children and the excuse being I didn't think it was plugged in. The wrong tool in the wrong hands is dangerous. That doesnt mean that people who use them properly shouldn't have them or should have a harder time obtaining them. Hell children fall into 5 gallon buckets and drown or suffocate because of plastic bags does that mean that buckets and bags are dangerous? I'm guessing you'll ignore this like my previous posts because it is logical and makes since.

  8. But he isn't old enough to legally own a gun, gun control should have already stopped this right? Gun control laws work right? Once again this is a people problem not a gun problem. The gun should have been stored properly and the kid taught its not a toy treat all guns as if they are loaded. Let me know when you find information about a gun killing people on its own. Had this kid stabbed her with a knife this probably wouldn't have made the news.

  9. It's mostly switch backs. There are signs that say 10mph for the next 25 miles. Then it starts to open up its a very curvy road and challenging. It's greatest aspect is its remote location means that it is never crowded and always quiet. But unlike the Dragon there are no food or gas stations on the way. Also there aren't any surrounding roads like the Dragon where the oads around it that are fun to drive.

  10. 1100cc. However' date=' since it's a performance-starved, 2-valve, air-cooled Ducati, with only 95hp, I have to play catchup whenever I go for a ride with my friends. Sometimes, I do wish I had a Japanese liter-class bike. At least I wouldn't always be so far behind on group rides. :(

Honestly, I really love the wet clutch on the MTS. However, when I get too comfortable with easy clutch actuation and no jerking coming from a stop.. there's always the Supersport. :)

The Diavel is a hideous bike, but I bet it is a dream to ride. I've been trying to get JewMatt to buy one to replace his shitbox VRod. I want to ride a Diavel, but don't want to buy one.[/quote']

Ok just checking to make sure you wernt spewing a bunch of hypocritical anti liter bike bs.

  11. Yes. It takes gigantic balls to straddle a liter bike. That' date=' or a small brain. I'm not equipped with either, so I'll stick to my puppy-powered Duc.[/quote']

    What size is your multistrada?

  12. I'm just curious who conducted the survey to determine the correlation between owning something fast and penis size. Did someone follow guys that own fast vehicles around and ask to measure the dick? Or did they just creep on them and check em out while they were using the bathroom?

  13. 954rr was the most recent, but also rode a friends 08 cbr1000rr and it was just stupid fast.

I was just wondering where you get the opinion that owning a liter bike is a penis thing? I'm assuming its something you've read somewhere seeing as you don't have much experience with one. I think its more having the balls to ride one not so much a lack of penis.

  14. This ^^^

Any newer 600 will be significantly faster than your current ninja. I always thought i needed a 1000cc coming off a katana 600 due to not having the power for a passenger. Then I got a ninja 750 and thought it was perfect in power.

Point is, most people just get a liter bike for the cock factor.(not everyone though)

Have you ever rode a modern liter bike?

  15. I own a 2012 Zx10r. Ergonomics are not any better than a 600 although it is pretty nimble. If your looking for a better fit go with the 14. The 10 is quick but needs some work to bring it up to the top of its game. First get rid of the exhasust. A slip on with a mid pipe is all it needs because it already has titanium headers. Drop the gearing the bike is geared way too tall and the power doesn't really kick in until 8k rpms. Then get the computer ecu flashed its about $375 and they can add a tune in so no need for a power commander. The flash is necessary because the US versions have been restricted by about 20hp. The flash can also bump your redline up 1000 rpm but most go with 500. Especially if your drag racing you will need to upgrade the clutch because it can't handle the high rpms needed to get a good launch. Ricky gadson did three runs on one before burning the stock clutch out. For your size you'll want to upgrade the suspension. Most guys go with ohlins ttx.

It's a great bike and it is scary fast stock but when it gets modded like above they are just insane.
