  1. I particularly enjoyed the "when your trick turns on you" section.
  2. $25 off of those prices if you are active or inactive military (retired, discharged, etc...). Thank you for doing what I should have done out of high school. No proof needed, but only a dirtbag would lie about it.
  3. BNIB CZ 75D Compact...Sold.... Edit: PCR is gone. Glock 26 Gen 3.... $450 SOLD Both 9mm. FTF only. Columbus preferred, but I do get to Cleveland and Cincy now and again.
  4. I'm loving that thing. Not in the market for another toy, but one of my favorite bikes/color scheme.

    1911

I've bought my last 4 guns from this guy....https://www.keelyarms.com/searchresults.asp?searching=Y&sort=11&cat=1911&show=6&page=4. His pricing is good and he's easy to deal with. As for a 1911 in that price range, I'd go for either the Ruger or Remington. That Night Watchman from Ruger is pretty appealing. That being said, I am not a 1911 expert by any means. I haven't shot one in probably five years and currently don't own one. Check out Keely Arms though.
  6. Nice! Pony is great to work with.

    What an odd comment.

    Help me decide.

I don't remember dates and I'm not looking them up, but I remember there being significant issues with early release Armadas and Titans. It prompted me to get my 2007 F-150 as my first vehicle from the American big 3. I was coming off of a great experience with my Frontier which replaced an excellent Tacoma. Today, I'd go Tundra.

Fwiw..... Anytime someone wants to buy a sub $300ish 9mm, this and the Ruger P series are my go-to. Extremely solid and accurate full-size gun. I had one but gave it to a friend's wife while he was serving in the desert.
  10. Agree 100%. There were more sandy vaginas on the field during the men's tournament.
  11. I saw that. Pack stadiums and they will be paid accordingly. That's how it works in free countries.
  12. Not ripping on anyone with a stock Ducati...they're awesome machines......but it's amazing that Rossi went from champion to nearly a has-been and back to champion as he's jumped from Yamaha to Ducati and back. I absolutely love watching that guy race.
  13. Oh and Shotgun World Forum is a great resource.
  14. I shoot recreational trap and skeet. Although not as familiar with NEO, I've shot at the Hill and Dale in Medina (may be private club though...always went with a member), Cardinal shooting Center right off of 71 just south of Mansfield, Airport Lancaster, and I have a membership at Blackwing in Deleware. All these places are automated, so you don't have to bother any staff to pull for you AND you can shoot alone (I generally don't want new friends). As for guns, you want a gun with choke tubes if shooting both trap and skeet. I have dedicated guns, but for recreational purposes, you don't need them. You want a double or auto for skeet. Pump can and has been done well, but I'd recommend against for skeet (pump is fine for trap). I have a beautiful Maple stocked Citori which is ok for trap and skeet, but I much rather use one of my Betetta autos. Also, you think skeet is fun? Try sporting clays!!!!!!!
  15. Thought I'd try a new carry option... I really like the ergos and trigger so far. Let's see how she shoots later. Post-shooting edit.... This gun is fantastic. Easy to stay on target, DA just pulls right through, and the mag release is incredibly natural. Carries a bit like a G26, but the grip is more sure. This has replaced the CZ PCR for OWB and IWB (non-discrete). PPS still holds the discrete-carry crown.

    Pawn shops

As for the pocket guns, I find my wife's BG .380 reliable and surprisingly accurate. That being said, my buffet has a .38 snub, PPS, and CZ PCR. The situation dictates which one. I'd get a 642 or 638 before the BG though. And for that $350 price point, I'd rather get a Shield.

Once you find what you like, try this guy out for pricing. I've purchased several from him. His "shop" is in Galion, and you can pick up instead of shipping. I think you'll find his prices better than most retail places. Example.... Beretta 92FS for $489, CZ P07 with night sights $439, sub $500 Glocks, etc.... https://www.keelyarms.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1477
  18. I use Avis and have never had an issue. I've probably done 15 rentals this year. Reserve on line. Get an email with my spot. Get in...show my license to the gate dude and off I go. Upon return, I pull up and they check miles and tank and the receipt goes to my email.
  19. That's some bullshit right there. I'd start a new thread about it so when people use the Googles, it will come up.
  20. Why do people think it's appropriate to use the speaker phone function in public places? I don't want to hear your conversation.
  21. Yep. I would have made that trade.
  22. It rubs lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again.
  23. The night QSL closes their patio of course.
  24. This would be my recommendation: http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/5042407823.html
