I got pulled over in my G/F's truck. I was on 270 passed the cop in the median. I was in her slow as truck so I know I wasn't speeding 60 MAYBE 65 in a 65mph zone. Fuckin cop followed me to the next exit. I didn't think anything of it at first then when i made a few turns I realized he was following me. Then on came the lights. I got a $105.00 ticket for that shit. I told him that it wasn't my truck and that my girlfriend had just gotten pulled over about a month prior for speeding and they didn't say shit about it then. I even offered to strip it off on the spot (it wasn't my car) He told me that it was too bad, have her take me out to an expensive dinner. That's what I don't understand! Why are some cops just straight up dicks!

Damn dud I don't know you, but I live over there and if I would have seen that I would have taken care of him for you...That fuckin sucks! You did the right thing though. I wouldn't have risked my car just to chase down some d-bags.

Is it bad if I already learned most of this...The hard way? Learned that one 3 years ago. I had to go to court is Washingto Court House 95mph in a 55mph...Construction. In my 95 Dodge Avenger...that car was freekin sweet. It took me 5 minutes to get that car up to 95mph, I wasn't about to slow down. Got one of those in the mail about 6 months ago. I had a suspended license and got pulled over in Worthington. Had to go to court for that too. My license was suspended for not paying a seatbelt violation in Norwalk Ohio, then they mailed the notice to the wrong address. But the fucked up part was that I had paid them on time, they credited the amount to the wrong person. So not only did I have to pay the $135 fine for driving with a suspended license...That I should have never gotten and never got a notice for. But I also had to pay to get my license back $15.00. But I didn't have to take any classes. True Story...I'm on my way to recovery...I have been ticket free for 9 months.

That's kind of a shitty situation to be in. You didn't know if it was broke or not, like you said it could have been working just fine and he brok it. That and you even contacted pay pal and the ebay seller to get the $300 back for him. But I guess that is a chance you take when buying or selling something. I might contact the VW forum so that it ends the cycle, but I wouldn't start any shit with the dude. Look at the bright side at least you didn't get stuck with the broke ass Turbo.

LOL yeah I guess killing myself on a bike would definatly rank up there in the catagory of NOT being okay. But some of the people I've talked to said that a 750 would be a nice beginer bike. I don't really have a lot of experience so I'll probably end up playing it safe on a 600 before I take the jump to a 750-1000.

It ran IMPORT gas not sure what octain, I know it's higher then 116. and No alcohol. He was going to turn up the boost more, but his fuel injectors were just about maxed.

Just wanted to know where is a good place to buy a bike in/ around Columbus? I want to get something small (a 750 maybe) to start with. This will be my 1st bike but I don't know of any dealerships. Also does anybody have a suggestion for a starter bike. Like I said this will be my 1st bike, I've ridden dirt bikes so i know how to ride, but i just want to get comfortable with a street bike. thanks!

The numbers wouldn't be as high as the AMS EVO. 1. It has an automatic trans 2. It was dynoed on huge drag radials. 3. It has a big ford 9" rear end So you are going to loose some WHP from there. Now if you put some 17" Z rated wheels and tires on there and a smaller rear end you'd probably see the number around 900 WHP. That's according to Brian at Dyno Tune Performance. Now that's only if you're interested in the HP number, you would never be able to run it with a set up like that. What makes it even crazier is that the 810 WHP is done with a factory block STOCK crank, rods, and iron heads. This car was made to run the 1/4 mile. The best it's run was a 9.25 @ 145 mph with a less then great 1.3 60ft and on 20 PSI, not to mention that was only on it's 3rd or 4th full pass ever down the track. It's going to be an 8 second car hopefully this weekend.

I was doing donuts in a snow covered parking lot one winter and got my car stuck on one of those long pieces on concrete for parking spots… After about 30 minutes I finally got it unstuck only to continue to do donuts and got it stuck again, this time I busted my oil pan too.

I'll take a white one for the outside of the window. As for the discount cards, It might not be a bad idea to charge for them. Like $20.00 a year. That way not just everyone can get one and it helps CR get a little $$$ for events. Maybe you can work something out with other places as well, like %10 off or something stupid like that. Just a thought.

It's too late now, but the drivers or somebody there should have known better. Why the Fuck would you allow a drag car to run on the city streets like that??? Hell even street cars with high HP know how loose the car can get on the street vs the track. Now a "Pro" drag racer decides to do a burn out in front of a ton of people...What were they thinking? I know it was an accident and they were doing it for a good cause, but if you are going to do something like that you should be over cautious. That’s very sad.

I hit a Goose on the freeway once. I saw it land about 10 yards in front of me then it just stood there. I was in a construction zone with barrels on both sides of me so I couldn’t move out of the way and it was too close to stop in time so I hit it…It made a loud ass thud/squawk, when I looked in the rearview mirror all I saw was a bunch of feathers, like I just ran over a pillow. It cracked my front fog light and bumper and there was blood everywhere. It sucked.
