  1. If anyone is interested, I found some long length pants for women (35 inch inseam). They are 123.99-134.99. http://www.newenough.com/street/protective_apparel/textile_jackets_and_pants/joe_rocket/ladies_ballistic_7_textile_motorcycle_pants.html
  2. Brought my bike home today! Here are couple of pics of mine and my husbands R6.

    Insurance?

I am already signed up for the class. Taking it in June. They were completely booked until then.
  4. Thanks, danballa! I appreciate you taking the time to put that together for me. I have shopped online a ton, and all I can find are 32 inseams which are just too short. I tried on a women's scorpion jacket today that fit fine, but I might have to go with men's pants. I will check out some of those websites you listed and see if I have any luck.
  5. I insisted on a black bike, got a simple black helmet. Not an all-pink kind of girl You know better!
  6. I am looking for some gear. All I have is the helmet. I looked at a lot of stuff online, but wondering if there are brands that are not worth the money or not good quality. Also, for a girl I am really tall so if any ladies know where to get longer pants that would be awesome!

    Insurance?

Progressive should love me! I have had house and cars with them for 3 years. We are thinking of switching everything to State Farm now, since they are so much cheaper.
  8. Yikes! Some nasty pics in there. Thanks for putting the link up!
  9. I think he is happier about getting his own bike for now!

    Insurance?

Total crap! I was really surprised that they wouldn't encourage all of the riders on the policy to take the class.

    Insurance?

Agreed! I was just hoping that if we both took the course they would apply a discount for us both. She said no to that

    Insurance?

One bike...brand new... full coverage but low amounts and a high deductable.

    Insurance?

I am taking the course in June and she said the discount would apply then, but it only drops it like $50/year.

    Insurance?

The price they gave us was around $675/year for my husbands R6 only. We haven't put my bike on yet because we are picking it up Friday and I didn't have the info when I called today. I thought it seemed too high, but we needed to get it started to bring the bike home. Guess I will have to shop around tomorrow and try to switch.

    Insurance?

Any idea on where to get good insurance rates? Ours is WAY too high!
  17. When used bikes sell for so close to the dealer price, why not buy from dealer?
  18. Yes, they gave us temp tags and I called and got insurance today.
  19. We brought his home today from the dealer and took back roads. They said that they will bring mine to that location instead of their other location so that we can drive it home safely. It's closer to home and easy to avoid highways. I don't feel good about breaking the law already! He bought an '09 R6 and I bought a '09 Ninja 500. I will put up some pics by this weekend.
  20. No, I didn't get a ticket. We are buying bikes far from home, and need to take the highway back. I know that is a restriction, but wasn't sure if it was a huge deal to get a ticket just in case.
  21. What happens if you get a ticket while driving with your temps?

    New Girl

I looked at one yesterday that was at a REALLY good price, but I like the style of the Ninja's better. I figure, I have waited a long time for a bike. Might as well get what I want instead of settling for something else.
