I thought it was really strange advice too, but it really did help me. When I first started riding I did not look through the curve/turn, and I was looking too close in front of me. Someone on here told me to look where I wanted to go. It forced me to keep my head and eyes up, even at really slow speeds. I noticed that those that were struggling in the class were watching their front tire or a few feet in front of the bike. As a new rider, I found it very helpful.

I just started riding this year, and finished the BRC last week. One thing that really helped me with leaning into curves was looking where I want the bike to go. They repeatedly told us in the class to point your nose where you want the bike to end up, and I was amazed at how much it made a difference. It wasn't natural at first, but the more I did it, the more I realized how effective it is. I am sure she will learn a lot at the class, and at least she will already know what she wants to work on when she gets there. Good luck!

Always wear my helmet, jacket, jeans, and boots. Just checking. Thanks!

I finished the MSF class last week, and went today to get my new license. I thought the lady at my class told us that our new license would say M-Novice for the first year, indicating I am required to wear my helmet. After the first year, she said I could go have it removed. My new license does not say Novice. Anyone know if it was an error at the BMV, or if I misunderstood what the lady told me in class?

Since when does Ron repair pools? News to me.

Forget the quarters. Go with batteries.

I missed the part about who he drives for. You're right.

Weird. I guess I always assumed the schools owned the buses and were responsible for hiring the drivers. I guess that means no background checks either?
-
What a jerk. On a side note, why did the school allow him to drive the bus if he wasn't licensed?

Welcome! We live over in Blanchester, but grew up in Morrow. There are some nice roads around this area so you should enjoy riding here.
