  1. Hi Marty,

I was riding in the intermediate group on the BMW S1000RR. White Astars leathers and a mostly blue Arai helmet. I only rode on Saturday. If you could upload any pics you have it would go a long way in getting my wife off my ass. On our Alaskan vacation she averaged one picture every 90 seconds. The woman's insane with photos. Thank you good sir!

  2. My drop came in a Harley dealership parking lot. Pulled up to a parking space doing a tight U-turn to back in and grabbed the brake a bit hard with the front wheel hard over to the left. Went to put my foot down, unfortunately it landed on some stones and out went my foot. I was able to hop off before the bike hit the ground and held it up for a bit but was just too heavy for the grip I had. Had to set it down, re-grip and lift it back up again.

The sales people wouldn't even talk to me. Weird. :dunno:

  3. I never drove the FZ1, but I did do a two up on it with Nick Inatch at Yamaha Champions last year. At the time, he was shooting video of one of the other students at the school who was on an R6. All of us were on R6's and all the instructors were on the FZ1's. Even with my extra 210 pound ass on the back, that FZ1 was right up on that R6 the whole time. I even thought about buying one but the wife has imposed a strict 2 bike limitation on me.

My impression of that bike is that is plenty capable on the track if you want it to be.

  4. What kind of shoot out, highway, back roads, track, drag strip or some combination? I would love to ride along and be a back marker witness to the events. I am a big fan of both bikes and think it would be cool to see them put through their paces.

Not sure yet. It really depends on how long he will have the bike available. If he has it all summer like he did last year with the Triumph, probably all of that, but if its limited time we will have to see what we can work out. Will be fun for sure! :D

  5. Just watched a discovery channel show on death row today. Last meal is different by state. Some serve whatever the chow hall is serving, I think it was Oklahoma that will give you whatever you want up to $15, another state was $40.

Just shoot me. No death is instantaneous. But the gas chamber takes 4-7 minutes with lots of suffering and choking, hanging might take a while after your neck snaps, lethal injection is just paralyzing your lungs until the third drug is injected to stop your heart, (about a minute, long one), and the electric chair sometimes takes more than one jolt, with lots of burning flesh. Firing 4 rounds into your heart should stop it quick, with about 10 seconds of awareness until all the oxygen in your brain is depleted.

    Yup, just shoot me.

  6. Great job! I remember my commercial to be the most idiotic checkride of them all. What the hell do chandelles and lazy eights have to do with flying screaming, puking whining farting drunken peeps all over creation?

Ahhh well, great job and keep at it! Huge pilot shortage coming, so I hear.

  7. There was lots of cheering when the Browns beat the Dolphins. They still won't give us bottled beer in the stadium though...meh. Wimps.

All the action in Cleveland has been pushed out to the burbs. The once very happening flats died when the cops got into a pissin contest with the mayor and stopped patrolling the streets down there. A few shootings later and boom. Flats are a bunch of empty buildings. Cleveland politicians try to get their palms greased at every turn and are as corrupt as the day is long. Result? Downtown is dead, and will stay that way for a long time.
