1998 Honda Civic EX. Runs and drives perfect. Couple scratches on the rear bumper, but the rest of the car is near mint. This has been my daily driver to work and consistently gets 30+ mpg. 1.6L VTEC w/ 5 speed. This car HAS NOT been riced out or abused. Very well maintained and garaged. Only has 109k miles and the timing belt/water pump were just done with OEM factory Honda parts. Gearheadz did the work so Rob can vouch for the quality of the car. This thing will easily go another 200k with regular maintenance. The only additions to the car are the Civic SI wheels, spoiler, and taillights. It also has projector headlights in it, but I have the factory headlights that go with it. Just had the windows tinted in the Fall. Good tires and brakes. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country. I have a clear title in hand. The only trades I will consider are fox body mustangs or cruiser type motorcycles (or hayabusa). I'm only selling this car because the wife's parents gave us a damn Subaru SVX that I towed back from FL. vibration before and after new tires. No pedal vibration or pulsing during braking.

mounts look good. 5 speed. it's all stock. i changed to a different shaft and the vibration was still there. it's worse when during WOT and when you let off to decel.

i put a new carrier bearing in the original driveshaft and it didn't help. i picked up a different shaft at the salvage yard. the carrier bearing was in good shape so i just replaced all the u-joints in that shaft. vibration remains.

nobody's ever had driveline issues before?

I've got a 95 ranger with a 2 piece driveshaft. I've replaced the carrier bearing, u-joints, tailshaft bushing & seal, 4 new tires, and I still have a vibration. I'm tired of messing with it and I just wanna get it fixed so I can sell the truck. I have too many damn cars sitting around and no place to park them. Any recommendations on a good driveline shop to take it to?

RMTC change your mind? Anybody want this thing before I cut it up tomorrow and get rid of it? Let me know ASAP.

My latest vehicle purchase came with a 5th wheel hitch. I sold the hitch so I obviously don't need the bedliner that is cut to fit the rails. I already had a new bedliner installed and I just want this one gone. Came from the F250. I stopped and looked at some trucks a month or so ago. They all had lots of miles and most had some type of body work done.

That FParts in Bristol, PA is a good place to buy. On the east coast anyways, they snatch up every single wrecked fbody they can get their hands on. I bought my 6 speed kit from them for my conversion. A bearing went bad in the tranny and they rebuilt the whole damn thing. Of course I was stationed at McGuire/Fort Dix at the time and it was a stone's throw.

these cars are going up in value. especially one that hasn't been modified beyond repair or beat to death. this one has less than 68K miles and it was all original. if you can find one like this for 1K and it's not in a derby....i'll buy it.
