  1. I'm heading southeast. Prolly about 300 miles' date=' give or take. Lyndse's jonesing, so I anticipate a quick pace, but not anything that will set your hair on fire. I'll be in jeans and textile, most likely.

You've got my cell number. Shoot me a text if this sounds like it might suit your fancy.[/quote']

can't do major roads/freeways. :( still haven't taken the test or an msf class.

  2. I dig... :D

But, why is the the fender so far off the tire? I keed, I keed... ;)

for fucks sake you guys are giving me a complex. from what i gather the f2 fender doesn't play nice with 120/70's and honestly its fugly. i need to fab some drop brackets to get it right.... but i don't feel like pulling the wheel off.

    Nice naked half-cepter!

    thanks!

Man! I still am amazed that is a 1988 motorcycle! Looks AWESOME! Be proud of it for sure!

looking forward to antique plates :D

  3. According to my manual I got a 4.7 gal tank on my bike, giving me range of anywhere from 170miles to 120 depending on how long I hold it on the rev limiter. So no need for in flight refueling, gas stops are perfectly spaced stretch breaks.

2.9 gallons/short gearing/no gauge or reliable odometer = no fun for me.

  4. dunno about the shock it is lowered not streched it is getting raised back up tomorrow I am 6'3" 220 lbs I look silly on it with it that low plus I am sure it will turn in quicker if I raise it back up

as for the red bull can It will be off tomorrow

I am looking into the 637 big bore kit I am thinking that with supporting mods should get me to the power level I would like I know its costly but hey its cheaper then a new bike

if the adjustment knob is red anodized, i'd bet its a fox. looks to be the same diameter as mine.

  5. What are you guys afraid of a little saddle time? 7 hours on the bike is a good day.

no, i'd just need in ride refueling for something that long, or i'd spend more time at the pump then on the road. small tank is small.

  6. nice bike man

    thanks!

Those hawk gt's are freaking awesome.

a little slow, but yes pretty awesome.

    Sort of artsy fartsy...cool lookin:)

spent 5 mins total on em' didn't even take off the helmet, so anyone that saw me thought i was an idiot.

Anyone with a Hawk GT is automatically cool.

A GT like this is a whole different level. Very nice.

i had wanted one since the mid 90's and when i decided to pull the trigger i ended up driving to vermont to get her. i plan on doing somethings differently on it this off season. i have a new tail planned and a complete teardown paint/powdercoat change.

    thanks for the kind words!
