  1. THAT is a great design. I've looked all over the web (I'm not very creative on my own. Too left-brained, and not even much of that...), and haven't seen anything Texas-related that I like as much as that. Very cool. Kudos. Jeff
  2. 44% approval yesterday, 42% today. Not necessarily related to this story, but still... I'm not interested in seeing both sides of the story anymore. He lies and deceives, and his media lets him do it. He IS what Bush was ACCUSED of being. Fascist, liar, warmonger. Don't get me wrong, Bush did some less than desirable things, but not with the complete contempt and disregard which Obama has for this great country. Progressive = socialist. Socialism doesn't work. Never has, never will. He's trying to break this country financially. I pray that we survive the next five months. 11/02/10, my friends. 11/02/10. Jeff
  3. Gen3: I'm a newbie, but for everyone on this board/ thread to completely ignore ANYTHING that says "whacked off", for ANY reason, seems a little odd. I thought someone would've been all over that. Maybe they're going easy on her. BTW, its the top post on page 2.
  4. Okay, I just waded through all seven pages of this thread, and NOBODY made a crack about her getting her hair cut, from page 1 or 2. I think you've all lost your edge...
  5. I have to show my DL and insurance when I get pulled over, but an illegal doesn't, and can't even be asked to? Does this make sense in any way? When citizens have a barcode on their foreheads, and the illegals don't, will it be okay to ask them why they don't have one?
  6. Bam Bam, "They can cross the border and visit any place in Mexico". Okay. So Mexico KNOWS they're in the country. They're not opening the gateway on their borders, especially not to "just Guatemalans". They're controlling who comes across their borders. OPEN BORDERS is part of the effort to merge Canada, USA, and Mexico into one country. What exactly do Canada and Mexico bring to the table? Why in the world would we want to become one with those countries? I will never be ashamed or apologize for being an American. American by birth, Texan by the grace of God. I don't believe that all countries are equal. I believe that America is great because it was founded by brilliant men with (for the most part) a belief in God. The ones who weren't strong believers didn't slight those who were. Open borders with another country will not accomplish anything good for America. We used to be able to go down to Laredo, walk across the bridge, and spend the day in Mexico. No longer. Its a warzone, like Juarez. Its not a good place, and letting that spill over into our country doesn't benefit us at all. Calderon wants to open the borders because his folks will come here, work, then send most of their money back to Mexico. Its a win-win for Mexico, and a lose-lose for us (except for employers exploiting cheap labor). What did I read? Phoenix is #2 in kidnappings now? Obama needs to stop apologizing for America. He needs to stop people like Calderon when they stand on the White House lawn and denigrate America. If you still refuse to see the "real Obama", his staff, and their agenda to "change" America, its because you don't want to see what he's doing. It ain't good.
  7. Why is healthcare considered a "right"? Its a service. NOBODY in this country is denied needed healthcare. Nobody. Do the hospitals want to get paid for services they provide, and can they be aggressive about it? Yep. Do YOU work for free? At all? On a large scale? And don't get me started on anchor babies.... The Bible tells us what is happening, and how it will likely end up. Re: "the middle": people are paying more attention. The Left thinks all media is biased to the right, and The Right thinks just the opposite (though neutral studies have shown which way the bias seems to lean, factually). The Right says we're a "center-right" country, and (of course) The Left says we're all "center-left". I'm new here, and have never met any of you, but I think Casper is someone I could have a beer with.... They just said "change". Never said it was going to be good for the country... Jeff
  8. Synopsis: Mexico doesn't tolerate anyone coming into their country w/o checking them out first. PLEASE take a moment to read this. Only takes a minute. THIS needs to be all over the media, but its not being mentioned at all: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1005/19/sitroom.01.html Jeff
  9. Its the camera. My wife and I always know who is going to crash in the MotoGp/ WSB races.... its always the guy who has the camera on his bike for that race. Always. If I were a betting man... Jeff
  10. Dubguy, Make sure to come up and say "Hi". I'll have a clapped-out two stroke with white & orange bodywork with a red and black tank. Green avalanche tow vehicle. Track days: I had no idea that track days could be so reasonable ($100, $125, etc), and I didn't blink at the $175. When I ran WERA years and years ago, a weekend would cost me notably more than that, so it didn't seem too unreasonable. Good point about the extra fees associated with some of the schools/ groups, but if you ride with them a few times a year, it might minimize the difference, right? We were in Indy a few weeks ago, and stopped in to Indy Ducati to see the owner. We were neighbors with them many years ago in another state. He mentioned their track day, and piqued my interest. Will keep my eyes open in the future for OR days. Jeff, Lebanon-ish
  11. I couldn't make that weekend, I'm going camping with my son. Will keep my eyes open for future OR track days. I'm stoked but nervous, since I haven't been on a track in at least six years. I hear that sticking elbows out into the wind makes you faster.... GO SPIES! Jeff, Lebanon
  12. Sponsored by Indy Ducati, but they allow any bikes (I'm taking a Honda...). $175. Beginner, Intermediate, Expert. Track opens at 7am, tech starts 7:30, and first group should hit the track somewhere around 8:30 or 9am. Call Indy Ducati to register at (317) 337-1098. Note: This is the Indy 500 weekend, so if you plan on hotelling it on Sat night, it may be a challenge. Jeff
  13. Saw a full size sport bike strapped down on top of a Camaro once, going down the highway. Honestly. Wasn't a very nice Camaro, but still.... Race YSRs. You can stick them in the back seat. Jeff
