I think the downtime isnt what you have to worry about, but the menopause she is about to go thru. I would suggest doing some hard core reading. http://www.safemenopausesolutions.com/hysterectomy-recovery.html Seems to have alot of good info. Good luck and im sorry she has to go thru this. Its not an easy task for a woman, and from some of the parenting websites i have been on, this could be emotionally hard on her. Some women have claimed to feel that the most vital part of thier bodies gone. Be easy on her and give her lots of hugs. I dont know if this if viable for you guys, but have they discussed freezing eggs for you guys? I ask because hysterectomys are NOT reversible like vasectomy. This could be a scary time for her, realizing she can no longer have children.

Flu shot makes cheeleader get disorder for life

The notion that people think that home schooling is not an option is just silly. I certainly wont be teaching my kids. I am not diligent enough to teach, but my kids will probably go to a home school group. Home school groups are where parents get together and help each other teach what their strong suit is. (ie, one parent is good with math, another is good with english so they come together and teach each others kids) Anyways.. way off topic, but, you get my point. -

Dont know, but if i have kids, they likely will not go to public school. -
Joe, welcome to the coldest winter in your first all electric house. I will highly reccmmend a kerosene heater. The problem with electric heat is its not "heat" its ambient air, so despite the house being 68-70 degrees, it wont feel warm. I hate it. We will never buy another house with out gas heat. We block off all rooms with magnet covers and have tension rod curtains boocking rooms into sections to lessen the stress of the pump, but electric is still pricey. I know you are a frugal guy so iassume you have a programmable thermostat.

Insulated curtains at target i keep a couple rolled towels at the base of doors close vents in areas you arent in often( like the bathroom) buy a quilt for your bed (100%cotton still breathable but warm) If you are concerned about costs make sure you are turning down the heat at night. ( our heat is turned down to 67 at night, 69 during day) fireplaces are very inefficient the way to heat. Houses/apts are just not built to retain that heAt any more

WHAT!?? You cant buy Cloves anymore??? Thats rediculous.. sigh. whatever..

I agree almost 99%.. Seriously.. why do kids need a vaccine fro Chicken Pox.. Did any of us die from it? I cant say i am educated about it, but I dotn think i have ever heard of someone dying from it.. (i could be wrong, but i stll wouldnt vaccinate for it) This is one of the few i think vaccines are good for. -

its works just like an epi pen (to my understanding) Its not an actual Epi Pen, i actualy dont know what the apparatus is called. You dial in the doseage and basicly stab yourself with it.
