Lola is the "baby" of the house, she has to be at our sides all the time, and is a bit of a clown and despite being 7, she still acts like a puppy. http://www.thehaltermans.com/lola.jpg Mazey is our oldest at 9. As she gets older she gets to be more of a loner, but loves to hunt the squirrels in the backyard. http://www.thehaltermans.com/mazey.jpg Mur is the Queen of the roost. Has been since he was a kitten. He sleeps with her, cuddles, cleans.. its pretty funny. He's the killer, and brings home "gifts" all the time. She is onry as all get out and as mean as she can be, she cant catch anything other than a fly. I have to agree here. OSU (as well as a few other schools around here) offer online classes, WAY more respectable as far as a degree and will look much better on your resume. Good luck and an AWESOME decision on your part. Going back to school is so hard as an adult..

I know that this could be a touchy answer to the problem, but the cat has a reason for doing this and it could be from a serious lack of training, or boredom. I would venture a guess at both. Have you, can you , would you consider making it an indoor outdoor cat? Declawing should be the last resort, if at all possible to avoid. Have you guys talked to the vet to see what solutions they might provide? I have three cats. In my life, I have had a total of 7. I have NEVER had cats that clawed furniture.I hae had minor stretching.. but never terrorizing my furniture.

How long have they lived with you? Trimming a cats claws is a great way of taking care of this, if you or she dont feel comfortable doing it, most vets will only charge like 15 bucks to do it.. and you can have it done as often as you like.
