We use our chromecast daily.. We only have one. I have a question for those who cancelled - do you watch live sports? If so how/where do you get it from? The only thing stopping is us missing F1, moto GP, and football/baseball

They are a slightly rare version of the Bhut Jalookia (Ghost Chili) http://www.bhut-pepper.com/images/scovillerating.jpg Nathan marinates his salsa's with them. We are currently air drying someto be ground up into powders. I dont eat them. I dont have the strength he does. Search on here, to find more threads about the chilis.

I brought it all up. I am not ashamed of my life. She made her choices when she decided motherhood was too hard. And your right not all have that luxury of a family, but my family isnt rich either, they are all middle/lower class family too. My point in everything im saying is working hard, working often, and perseverance will make life better. In all honesty, i think my dad could have done more, I think he could have gone to night school, while my grandparents watched me, or tried to at least move up from his spot in life. So while he worked hard at his job every day, he was content in that role too, or he would have made choices to move above and beyond the levels he was at. I dont frown upon him for it, His kids were/are his world and he watned to be with us as much as he could. I couldnt have asked for a better parent

My mother wasnt in the picture. She left when i was 4. No he didnt have an insurance policy, but we have a big family and they would have taken over if something happened to my father.

i understand your point, but poverty will always be, just the nature of the beast, but i believe you can work your way out of poverty. Its not easy, ive been there but it can be done. My question is this.. Is there anyone on here who has actually been poor? Like had to decide between food and bills? My dad did, i grew up that way, but he did it to give us a better life (he had hoped) We grew up in beavercreek which is a well to do suburb of dayton (like dublin, or westerville) During summer months he would slack off paying ht electric so he could save up to get us new clothes for the school year, as kids we didn't know any better and just thought "camping outside" was a fun thing during the summer, or on fall nights we would all sleep in the family room where the fireplace was with the fire on to keep us all warm. It was never out for more than a day or two, just long enough to get his next paycheck, but he did it so he could afford to have us in a "poorer" part of beavercreek so we could go to good schools,We were the poor kids, i got teased about it because my dad had old rusted cars in the driveway and it was obvious my clothes came from goodwill or kmart. He rented that house for 19 years. It wasn't until my sister and i both graduated that he was able to start saving up enough to actually buy the house from the owner. He also now works for GM and has a much better life for himself than he did while we were growing up. When i was 16, i got a job, and started paying the electricity bill to help out, i did this WHILE i went to school, and was in marching band and track, as well as other extra curricular. I busted my ass, because thats what my dad taught me to do. In the words of an illustrious man who we all miss. "DO WORK, SON" Mike Rowe is among my heros, and he has worked hard to remind us all that the jobs are there, they might suck, but they are there.

I dont hate either. I hate laziness and irresponsiblness that is to blame for a lot of poverty and poor. I have very litte sympothy for my sister, she goes to the bars, smokes and makes poor decisions and is there for poor. She took a buyout from GM that would have paid off my house and blew through it in 6 months at the bars and more bad decision. She didnt take advantage of the offers of free schooling because of her buyout, so now she works at restaurant as a prep cook, and a second job doing clerk work for the county. She's wrecked he car and cant afford to fix it so she drive with wonky front end. She is just starting to slowly pull her life together, but its a long way to go, and i expect her to make more stupid choices, which will keep her in the station she has CHOSEN to keep in life. She isn't lazy, but she is irresponsible. CHOICES. Im far from perfect, but i made some VERY smart choices in my life, that at the time seemed VERY hard, but my life is better for it.

Wages are a completely different discussion.

My sister... Who hates politic has talked more to me about this than anything EVER on political issues. She's boggled by it all. And what gets my goat is it's people like her who are going to be most affected.
