Question on these. I picked up an xbi and an xbi2 on eBay. The seller (I got both from same seller) said that the xbi could not communicate w other units, but that the xbi2 could. Sounds like you're saying that's false, as you and your wife used the xbi set to talk back-and-forth. Or maybe it's that the xbi and xbi2 can't communicate with each other? Also. This kit is the boom style mic kit. He said he used it w a full face helmet, not open face. Is that possible? Only way to get boom inside is to go up through the bottom. The mic ends up wedged between my mouth or chin and the helmet. Kind of annoying. Could you "feel" your mic? Or was it small Enough to be unnoticed? Doorfront Parking like a BOSS NoBama 2012

Got the Ram mount installed. Good looking mount all together. Seem to be quality parts. As suspected though, not a huge fan of the "fingers" cradle for the otterbox. Also not thrilled with how far the whole thing extends/sticks out. Kinda like a sore thumb. Thinking I should have gone w a shorter "stem". (i think i got the medium one) My initial thoughts w the longer stem was to try and have the cradle next to the brake reservoir, UNDER the windscreen. But the angle of the ball socket swivel doesn't allow it to swing that way. Haven't had a chance to test stability on the road yet. Doorfront Parking like a BOSS NoBama 2012

To clarify, I'm not a total noob, and feel confident w gun safety. I just don't necessarily feel qualified to "teach", or w more than I may have picked up in CCW class. You know, things like am I teaching the correct grip, stance, etc. "Why DOESNT the milk jug explode when shot like in the movies?". (even w hollow points). Was looking for a way to get him more into it, and def not against doing it WITH him. I'm all about quality time, even if a little awkward. Training seemed like a good route, just didn't know what to do That wouldn't be redundant for me or maybe irrelevant for him (CCW). I do like the video idea referenced. So I thought about some form of training class (ESP since he can't keep his booger finger off the trigger) but all I can come up with us a CCW class. I doubt he'll Ever cc, (as opposed to just use for HD) so not sure thats the best option. So.... Took my dad shooting for the second time last month.
