  1. Wow. Not a lot of GM fans in here:). Not disregarding. Just debating. I actually decided to pass on the GXP. told him I'd pay his eBay fees. I'm not comfy w the GTO. it screams of not being well maintained. Back to the search. Nobama 2012
  2. I personally prefer GM. and pontiac had always been my fav. I bought my last 04 grand Prix w 170k miles (for $4400). Put another 50k miles on it in a year ad a half. Never left me stranded once. Other than 2 front wheel bearings and a set of tires i had to do noting to it. Sold it this week w 222k miles on it, needing engine work, for $2200. Not a bad investment I don't think. Nobama 2012
  3. Not unless you go back to the mid to late 90's model years.
  4. I like how they tried to slide that "rs title" in there. I assume that's a rebuilt salvage title, and why it's cheap. Other than the one i posted above the Only ones I've found less than 10k needed paint work, had hail damage, rebuilt titles etc. Nobama 2012
  5. "My GTP had 222k on it when I sold it wednesday. Got $2200, w iT needing engine work" Nobama 2012
  6. Didn't realize the eBay offer was a commit to buy. Thought I was just adding options to my list if he accepted. Yeah, I know I can get newer cars for this amount. But I want one w power and sex appeal. Those cost more:). Trust me, I take my time when it comes to this. Takes me FOREVER to make the final decision. Miles don't normally scare me. Prob because of my mechanical Backround. My GTP had 222k on it when I sold it wednesday. Got $2200, w iT needing engine work. On this particular GXP he was asking 7k. I figured if I can get it for cheap it's worth it. Offered 5k. He countered w 6500. I countered w 5500, and it was immediately accepted. NoBama 2012
  7. Does your grandma know you're using her Living Room table to sell guns? Lemme know if u sell that G26 Nobama 2012
  8. My GTP Grand Prix developed an engine noise, so I sold it as is. Time for another car. Narrowed down to..... 2004 GTO, 350 HP, 6 speed, $8000. Dealer car 2006 Grand Prix GXP, 305 HP, auto, $5500. Private seller car. Grand Prix: 200k miles, but no body damage or accident history. GTO: 100k miles. But has carfax Report of rear end accident. I can also personally tell where it's had paint work in the front. Air bag light is on. Steering wheel off center. All point to "not good". Small dents on hood, but prob not related. Glove box fell out when I opened it. Leather is coming apart at seams from sun damage. Door panel broken. Exhaust is cut off right after the cats. Had a "system" in it, but is lacking the sub. So just an amp in trunk taking up space. Has a built in radar detector, but it doesn't work. Had a custom guage cluster but it's not even hooked up. Has an awesome pioneer navigation/audio head unit. I drove the GTO. Always wanted one. I kinda like the sleeper aspect to it. It took me back to my 68 firebird days and 94 Z28 days. It's raw horsepower, American muscle car that just screams play w me. Pure sex. My penis says buy it. My experience in the used car biz says its rough, driven by a younger guy who prob didn't take care of it, and that its been through the dealers trying to hide the abuse. I'm already somewhat committed on the GXP. Made an offer on eBay, not knowing it was a "commit to buy" and it was accepted. Already dragged him on longer than I should have, trying to make my decision. So I'm pretty sure I'm going to GXP route for financial, moral, and dependability/not a money pit reasons. (I need a daily driver that works every time. Don't have time for a project car) So would you follow your gut, or your penis? Nobama 2012
  9. How is it triggered to start and stop? Nobama 2012
  10. The jeans are a definate plus. I carry a XD9SC, or a LCP in an ankle holster when i have to guarantee i don't print. but I'm in the process of getting drunk after wrecking my bike so no pics for now. Nobama 2012
  11. He Didn't even see it. Really laid back. Told him I was a CHL holder. Then i proceeded to buy beer later w him at the counter. (no longer carrying, but he didnt know that) Nobama 2012
  12. The issue was the resistor. Never got it to fire so we broke the lock cylinder and used a screwdriver to start. Then the lock fell back into plave and the steering Column locked while I was pulling out o a gas station. Just dumped the bike and broke the clip on. Cop just took the police report. Been an eventful weekend. I'm Going to get drunk. Nobama 2012
  13. It's Sunday tomorrow. Holiday monday. Guessing that's not an option
  14. In TN on a Gap trip. Lost keys somewhere between OH and TN. Pulled the lock cylinder. Have access to all the wiring connections. Have been able to Hotwire it for headlights, dash lights, starter crank, etc. but so far none of the Hotwire combinations will Grant an engine start. Anyone have any insight on how to Hotwire this to get it to start? Nobama 2012
  15. Still don't see how u guys do that. Just too much wind noise to have the other party hear me. Nobama 2012
  16. Like this. I have one on my car. But honestly it doesn't do a lot of good. I don't think it gets noticed much because it came in a gray color. And yes, that is a law in some areas. I've see the signs too. But it never gets enforced. Nobama 2012
  17. No, I haven't ever been that fast. Close, on the bike, but only when it's open, no other Traffic, and I won't be doing any lane changes. It was an example. Chances are if you're doing 170, there will be no one behind you to please. Nobama 2012
  18. You're contradicting yourself. If you would have had to slow down to move right when getting behind granny, that tells me your going faster than granny. In which case, you are using the left lane as intended. Kudos. Pass her and then get out of the passing lane. I don't care if you pass her at 1 or 20 mph faster than she is going. Your good. But if you're not passing, you're squatting! I don't care if you're going 70, or a BUCK 70 in the left lane. If you're not passing anyone, GTFO! Someone coming up behind you that is going faster than you? Pay attention! Are you going slower than the lane on your right? GTFO! Is the lane on your right empty? GTFO! And if you ARE actually passing someone, kudos again. Now do your passing, and GTFO! Really not rocket science. Common sense and the correct way to drive! Just think "Autobahn" Nobama 2012
  19. And it's not YOUR road either. Which in reality is what you fast lane squatters are saying. It's a PASSING lane, yet you squatters choose to act like its there for your personal pleasure cruising along totally oblivious to the wide open lanes to your right. Use it to pass, and GTFO! As far as not breaking any laws by squatting... It actually IS illegal in certain parts. Just not enforced unfortunately. Nobama 2012
  20. Those were going to be my EXACT words. it is a good b movie though. Must have taken you hours if not days. Wish I had free time like that. Nobama 2012
  21. Wanna make something like this? "Get passed on the RIGHT? You're in the WRONG! -lane" Nobama 2012
  22. "Internal waist connection zipper allows attachment to selected Alpinestars leather and textile pants." I saw these in Gatlinburg on a Gap trip. I could have sworn it was a 360 zipper. Maybe I'm wrong? Nobama 2012
